  • On the heels of its world premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, where director Madison Thomas was recognized with a special mention in the Amplify Voices Awards category for Best BIPOC Feature Film, the Crave Original documentary BUFFY SAINTE-MARIE: CARRY IT ON has its streaming premiere on Crave. Described by The Globe and Mail’s Brad Wheeler as “ahead of her time,” the film explores the life and career of Buffy Sainte-Marie, one of Canada’s most-respected Indigenous leaders, an innovator of music, and an activist, who has left an indelible mark on the world. Through exclusive access, rare archives, insightful interviews – and great music – the 90-minute documentary celebrates Buffy’s extraordinary achievements, dispels myths, sets the record straight, and illustrates that in a time of chaos and division, audiences have never needed Buffy more than they do now.
OCTOBER 21 – TERROR TRAIN (2022) *Movie Premiere*
  • In this contemporary reimagining of the 1980 cult classic of the same name, eerie excitement is in the air as Alana and a group of college seniors board a party train for a Halloween-themed bash. But their fun spirals into fear as attendees are killed off one by one by an unknown assailant. Concealed by costumes and plagued with chaos, everyone is a suspect. As the party train continues full steam ahead, Alana must race against the rails to find the killer before she becomes the next victim. TERROR TRAIN was shot in Montréal, and produced by Tubi and Incendo, with support by Bell Media. The original TERROR TRAIN (1980), starring Jamie Lee Curtis, also drops on Crave on Friday, Oct. 21.

Creatively unfulfilled and facing financial ruin, the fictionalized version of Cage must accept a $1 million offer to attend the birthday of a dangerous superfan. The fabled story spans four decades across five major U.S. cities, immersing viewers in a network of crisscrossing relationships between crime, hip hop, and law enforcement. The series affords viewers exclusive access inside epic family feuds, high stakes drug deals, suspicious murders, and champagne drenched parties attended by hip-hop royalty.
