  • With spooky season in full swing, Crave’s massive Halloween-themed landing page, packed with hundreds of hours of specially curated programming, launches on Friday, September 27. From films to classic TV episodes and specials, the Halloween collections include Terrifying TV, Frightening Films, Halloween Episodes, Hallow-queens, Freaky Franchises, Masters of Horror, I Fell in Love with a Monster, Blood Sucking Binge, Page to Scream, Monster Mash, and Your Costume Inspiration. Films and series, which are available on Crave and STARZ, include Beetlejuice, Practical Magic, The Watchers, Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), TRUE BLOOD, YELLOWJACKETS, The Exorcist, The Shining, Jennifer’s Body, Evil Dead, Alien, The Conjuring, and more.
  OCTOBER 3 – Max Original Film SALEM’S LOT *Premiere*
  • New Line Cinema’s film adaptation of Stephen King’s 1975 bestselling novel Salem’s Lot reunites the producing teams behind the record-breaking horror franchises The Conjuring universe and the It In the Max Original film, author Ben Mears returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire. Starring Lewis Pullman, Alfre Woodard, Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Spencer Treat Clark, Pilou Asbæk, and John Benjamin Hickey.
  OCTOBER 4 – STARZ Original Series FAT JOE TALKS *Premiere*
  • Hosted by and executive produced by Grammy award-nominated artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Fat Joe, STARZ’s first-ever weekly interview, FAT JOE TALKS, premieres with award-winning music artist and star of POWER BOOK II: GHOST, Method Man, as its inaugural guest. In each 30-minute episode, Fat Joe brings audiences along for intimate conversations and never-told-before stories with celebrities and newsmakers who drive the cultural zeitgeist. Upcoming guests also include: Oscar-nominated Actress, Grammy, and NAACP Award Winner Mary J. Blige; Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries; actor and award-winning hip hop artist T.I.; Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Babyface; as well as appearances by Grammy-nominated hip hop artist Latto, reggae artist Buju Banton, and rapper Remy Ma. FAT JOE TALKS premieres on Friday, Oct. 4, with subsequent new episodes released on Fridays.
  OCTOBER 4 – THE QUEEN OF MY DREAMS *Movie Premiere*
  • The Canadian Screen Award-winning film THE QUEEN OF MY DREAMS, starring Amrit Kaur (THE SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS), makes its Canadian streaming debut on Crave on Friday, Oct. 4. Azra is worlds apart from her conservative Muslim mother. When her father suddenly dies on a trip home to Pakistan, Azra finds herself on a Bollywood-inspired journey through memories, both real and imagined; from her mother’s youth in Karachi to her own coming- of-age in rural Canada. From director Fawzia Mirza.
  OCTOBER 6 – HBO Original Series THE FRANCHISE *Premiere*
  • From executive producers Sam Mendes and Armando Iannucci, THE FRANCHISE follows the crew of an unloved franchise movie fighting for their place in a savage and unruly cinematic universe. The comedy series shines a light on the secret chaos inside the world of superhero moviemaking, to ask the question: how exactly does the cinematic sausage get made? Because every f*ck-up has an origin story. Starring Himesh Patel as Daniel; Aya Cash as Anita; Jessica Hynes as Steph; Billy Magnussen as Adam; Lolly Adefope as Dag; Darren Goldstein as Pat; and Isaac Powell as Bryson. Recurring guest stars include Richard E. Grant as Peter, and Daniel Brühl as Eric. THE FRANCHISE premieres on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 10 p.m. ET, with subsequent new episodes, Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
  OCTOBER 10 – Max Original Film CADDO LAKE *Premiere*
  • From producer M. Night Shyamalan and writer-directors Celine Held and Logan George, CADDO LAKE was inspired after Held and George came across a photograph of the real Caddo Lake online, leading to many visits to the cypress forest that rests on the border of Texas and Louisiana. When an eight-year-old girl mysteriously vanishes, a series of past deaths and disappearances start to link together, forever altering a broken family’s history. Starring Dylan O’Brien, Eliza Scanlen, Dianna Hopper, Caroline Falk, and Sam Hennings, with Eric Lange and Lauren Ambrose.
  OCTOBER 10 – STARZ Original Series SWEETPEA *Premiere*
  • Ella Purnell stars as Rhiannon Lewis, a quiet wallflower who develops a vengeful and intoxicatingly liberating taste for murder, in the new six-part STARZ Original series SWEETPEA, produced by See-Saw Films and fanboy, in association with Sky Studios. In the darkly comedic and twisted coming-of-“rage” thriller, Rhiannon doesn’t make much of an impression, people walk past her in the street without a second glance, she’s continually overlooked for a promotion at work, the guy she likes won’t commit, and her dad is sick. Then, everything in her life turns upside down and she’s pushed over the edge and loses control. Suddenly the wallflower is gone, and in its place is a young woman capable of anything. The ensemble cast also includes Nicôle Lecky, Jon Pointing, Calam Lynch, Leah Harvey. The series premieres on Thursday, Oct. 10, while subsequent new episodes drop on Fridays for the remainder of the season.
  OCTOBER 11 – BAD BOYS: RIDE OR DIE *Movie Premiere*
  • From Sony Pictures Entertainment, the world’s favorite “Bad Boys” are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your seat action and outrageous comedy, but this time with a twist: Miami’s finest are now on the run. Starring Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nunez, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Jacob Scipio, Melanie Liburd, and Tasha Smith, with Tiffany Haddish and Joe Pantoliano.
  OCTOBER 11 – Crave Original Series THE OFFICE MOVERS *Premiere*
  • This first-ever television project from Brampton-born comedy duo Jae and Trey Richards takes viewers behind-the-scenes of a fictional moving company and showcases the hilarious, yet very relatable, struggles of working in a family bus Produced by Counterfeit Pictures in partnership with Crave, the six-episode, half-hour comedy follows Everett (Jae) and Eric Saunders (Trey), two brothers reluctantly following in their father’s footsteps in commercial office moving. Everett, the owner of Shazam Moving, is fighting to keep his business afloat against stiff competition. Alongside his brother Eric, and a quirky crew of co-workers, Everett struggles to keep it together to land a big enough contract to be bought out by Zenithon Logistics, a moving industry giant. The Saunders brothers battle each other, their family and their crew, as they face the unforgiving nature of the Toronto office moving game to make a last-ditch attempt to cash out, and leave moving behind for good. Joining Jae and Trey on the show are a talented group of Canadian comedians, digital creators, and collaborators, including: Jack Innanen, Lucas Lopez, Noel Miller, Hassan Phills, Jesse Sebastiani, and WatswithAndy. Tyco, one of Jae and Trey’s most iconic characters, also makes a cameo appearance throughout the series. The first two episodes of THE OFFICE MOVERS drop on Friday, October 11 with two new episodes streaming on subsequent Fridays.
  OCTOBER 11 – Max Original Series THE CONFIDANTE *Premiere*
  • Inspired by true events, this psychological thriller follows Christelle “Chris” Blandin, a rock music-obsessed Parisian, who, after witnessing the harrowing November 13, 2015 terrorist attacks, quickly latches onto a community of survivors. Claiming that her best friend Vincent was one of dozens critically injured at the Bataclan Theatre, Chris becomes an indispensable resource for the group, working her way into a prominent role in a survivors’ association. Though her commitment seems relentless, discrepancies begin to pepper her story, raising serious doubts among the true victims of the tragedy. Starring Laure Calamy, Arieh Worthalter, Annabelle Lengronne, Alexis Manenti, Ava Baya, and Anne Benoît. The four-episode series debuts on Friday, Oct. 11 with subsequent episodes rolling out on Fridays.
  OCTOBER 27 – HBO Original Series SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE *Season 3 Premiere*
  • Written, starring, and executive produced by comedian and singer Bridget Everett, HBO’s Peabody Award-winning comedy series SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE returns for a third and final season. The series follows Sam Miller (Everett), a true Kansan on the surface, but, beneath it all, struggling to fit the hometown mould. Grappling with loss and acceptance, singing is Sam’s saving grace and leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don’t fit in, but don’t give up. The Season 3 cast also includes Jeff Hiller (Joel), Mary Catherine Garrison (Tricia Miller), Tim Bagley (Brad), Murray Hill (Fred Rococo), Jennifer Mudge (Susan), Mercedes White (Tiffani), Meighan Gerachis (Irma), and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (Iceland). SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE Season 3 premieres on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 10:30 p.m. ET.
