RDS Remains Sports Fans’ Destination of Choice on NHL Trade Deadline Day

MONTREAL, March 3, 2015—RDS once again showed that thanks to the leadership of its team, shows and digital platforms, it remains sports fans’ destination of choice for updates on National Hockey League (NHL) trade deadline day. Between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. ET, while competing networks were covering the same topic, RDS had an average audience of 122,000* viewers—an increase of 26% compared to 2014. All told, its audience was four times larger than its closest rival. DIGITAL PLATFORMS There were also many Internet users following all the moves made by NHL general managers online. On Monday alone, RDS’s various digital platforms received over 1.225 million** visits—an increase of 32% compared to 2014.
