RDS Teams Up with 17 Brand Partners for the 2023-2024 Hockey Season

Montréal, Oct. 11, 2023 – As the puck is about to drop on the 2023-2024 hockey season, RDS announces 17 official brand partners. Returning sponsors are ALBI le Géant, Bâton Rouge, Bell, Boston Pizza, Chrysler, Ferrero, Ford, Hyundai, Loto-Québec, Molson, Napa, Promutuel and St-Hubert. Joining the line up this season are new partners Air Canada, Coca-Cola, and Robert Bernard, as well as Toujours Mikes who’s come on board as a sponsor of the 19th season of the Grand Pool RDS. RDS is the official French-language broadcaster of the Montréal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, and Laval Rocket and will be the exclusive home to 156 games. “With RDS, clients can enjoy a unique hockey offering, and incredible advertising opportunities made possible by Bell Media’s 360° brand-amplifying capabilities ranging from accompanying programming and brand partnership integrations to opportunities across our digital, out-of-home, and radio platforms,” said Shannon Wells, Director of Sales – Quebec, Bell Media. Last year, RDS’ broadcast of Montréal Canadiens games increased its average minute audience by 18% in A25-54, while A18-34 audiences almost doubled. RDS has the highest market share increase (2.2) of any TV channel in Québec in A18-34 (2022-23 vs 2021-22). In Québec, RDS’ digital properties remain the go-to source for sports. RDS.ca reaches 23% more unique visitors than its closest rivals, while its hockey section attracts 41% of unique visitors. RDS remains the undisputed leader in sports with more than 2.7 million viewers, 52% more than its direct competitor.
