TORONTO (November 9, 2015) – CTV commemorates the service and sacrifice of true Canadian heroes – past and present – who serve and have served in Canada’s military with REMEMBRANCE DAY 2015. The live, national broadcast airs this Wednesday, Nov. 11 beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET/7:30 a.m. PT on CTV, CTV Two, and CTV News Channel, and live-streamed on CTVNews.ca, CTV.ca, and the CTV GO and CTV News GO apps. CTV News’ Chief Anchor and Senior Editor Lisa LaFlamme leads the uninterrupted 90-minute broadcast from the official National Remembrance Day ceremony held at Canada’s National War Memorial in Ottawa. A coordinated minute of silence in honour of Canada’s veterans will be held in all markets at 11 a.m. across CTV and CTV Two. Joining LaFlamme to provide in-depth commentary and perspective are CTV News’ Chief Political Commentator Craig Oliver, CTV News Ottawa Bureau Chief and Host of QUESTION PERIOD Robert Fife, along with CTV News Reporter Mercedes Stephenson.
