TORONTO (March 18, 2015) –The selection committee for the BIOSTEEL ALL-CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME today revealed the roster of players taking part in the inaugural edition of the game. As announced earlier this month, this new showcase event taking place at Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Centre spotlights the next generation of Canadian basketball stars. TSN will broadcast the BIOSTEEL ALL-CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME on Tuesday, April 14 immediately following the Toronto Raptors’ game against the Boston Celtics. The full roster for the BIOSTEEL ALL-CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME is being announced today in conjunction with Canada Basketball Day at the Air Canada Centre, with the Toronto Raptors hosting Team BioSteel’s Andrew Wiggins and the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight at 7 p.m. ET on TSN. Nineteen of the athletes taking part in the BIOSTEEL ALL-CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME have represented Canada on the international stage or participated in Canada Basketball programming. The athletes were chosen by an 11-person selection committee, led by Tony McIntyre, the BIOSTEEL ALL-CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME Operations Director and Selection Committee Chairman.
