PHILIP K. DICK’S ELECTRIC DREAMS have changed. The series will now debut with a two-episode, sneak-peek event beginning with “Human Is” starring Brian Cranston on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. ET, following the Chapter 1 finale of Canadian Specialty’s most-watched series, STAR TREK: DISCOVERY. Then on Monday, Dec. 25 at 10 p.m. ET, after the Canadian premiere of DOCTOR WHO’s much-anticipated Christmas special, Space debuts “Crazy Diamond” starring Steve Buscemi. The full 10-episode anthology takes up its permanent timeslot – Sundays at 10 p.m. ET, beginning January 7.
In “Human Is”
(Nov.12 at 9 p.m. ET), a woman suffering in a loveless marriage suddenly finds that the psyche of her emotionally abusive husband has been replaced by something alien…yet surprisingly kind. This cuts to the heart of Philip K. Dick’s core concern – what truly defines us as human?
In “Crazy Diamond”
(Dec. 25 at 10 p.m. ET), as average a man as ever there was, when approached by a gorgeous synthetic woman with an illegal plan that could change his life completely, a smitten ED decides to help. That’s when his world really begins to crumble.
