Season 3 of Dark Thriller THE FALL Returns with Back-to-Back Episodes, October 21 on Bravo

“There are no signs that series three is about to let up from the splendid malaise its previous series created […] one should brace themselves for a lot more cliffhanging.” – The Daily Express TORONTO (October 19, 2016) – The deadliest game of cat and mouse chases its way back to Bravo this month with the third and final season of BBC’s THE FALL. With the first two episodes airing back-to-back on Friday, Oct. 21 at 9 p.m. ET, the six-episode, 75-minute serial killer drama picks up immediately after Season 2’s cliff-hanger finale in which Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) has arrested “Belfast Strangler” Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan), who has sustained a serious gunshot wound while in police custody. In Season 3, the emotionally charged aftermath of the shooting follows Gibson’s personal journey to exact justice for the victims’ families, which must begin with the blood-soaked fight to keep Spector alive. THE FALL returns to its regular Fridays at 10 p.m. ET timeslot on Oct. 28. Viewers can catch up new episodes of THE FALL on demand via set-top box and online at bravo.ca, following each broadcast. In the season premiere episode, “Silence and Suffering,” (Friday, Oct. 21 at 9 p.m. ET) Spector is rushed to Belfast General Hospital where Dr. Joe O’Donnell (Richard Coyle, THE COLLECTION), Nurse Kiera Sheridan (Aisling Bea, TROLLIED) and the staff struggle  to keep him alive. News of Spector’s arrest and life-threatening injuries reach the teenaged Katie (Aisling Franciosi, GAME OF THRONES), and she plots to help him. With the powers-that-be questioning Gibson’s handling of the case, her determination to get a conviction is tested to the full. Then at 10:15 p.m. ET, in Episode 302 “His Troubled Thoughts,” Gibson and Assistant Chief Constable Jim Burns (John Lynch, CROSSBONES) are raked over the coals by the police ombudsman and the policing executive for their conduct and handling of the case. When Spector’s name is released to the press as the arrested suspect in the Belfast Strangler case, his wife and family are forced to deal with the consequences. But even if he survives, he may never be fit enough to stand trial, while Gibson and her team struggle to secure enough evidence to convict. Also joining THE FALL this season are new cast members Krister Henriksson (Wallander) as Dr. Larson, Aidan McArdle (Mr. Selfridge) as Healy, and Ruth Bradley (HUMANS) as Wallace. Colin Morgan (HUMANS) returns as Detective Sergeant Tom Anderson, as well as series regulars Valene Kane (THIRTEEN) who plays Rose Stagg, Stuart Graham (THE SECRET) as DCI Eastwood, and Bronagh Waugh (CHANNEL ZERO) as Spector’s wife, Sally Ann.
