Crave continues to deliver weekly alerts highlighting new and noteworthy programming and scheduling changes for the week ahead.   Highlights This Week
  • The high-flying animated comedy film, SPIES IN DISGUISE, debuts Friday, September 18. Super-spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave, and debonair. Walter is none of the above. When a “biodynamic concealment” experiment transforms Lance into a brave, fierce, and majestic… pigeon, the unlikely duo must team up for the ultimate mission to save the world.

  • All five seasons of the beloved anime series, SAILOR MOON, drop Friday, September 18 in their original uncut form. SAILOR MOON chronicles the magical action-adventures of a teenaged girl who transforms into the powerful guardian of love and justice, Sailor Moon. Meeting allies along the way who share similar fates, Sailor Moon and her team of planetary Sailor Guardians fight to protect the universe from forces of evil and total annihilation.

  • From Emmy® and Academy Award® winner Alex Gibney (GOING CLEAR: SCIENTOLOGY AND THE PRISON OF BELIEF, THE INVENTOR: OUT FOR BLOOD IN SILICON VALLEY), HBO’s two-part documentary series, AGENTS OF CHAOS, premieres Wednesday, September 23 at 9 p.m. ET.The film is a product of years of reporting on Russian interference in the 2016 election. With never-before-seen footage inside the Russian troll farms, and videos unearthed from the Russian deep web, the film digs deep into the sophisticated plans to undermine U.S. democracy, raising the alarm for the American public, but also proving that these “agents of chaos” weren’t Russians alone; they were also key players in the United States who, through venality, corruption or circumstance, furthered Putin’s goals, with a vulnerable and unsuspecting American public as their target.
What Critics Are Saying about HBO’s WE ARE WHO WE ARE   “WE ARE WHO WE ARE Is Coming-of-Age Poetry” “[…] gorgeously photographed and obsessive in its attention to detail […] It’s not a traditional television show. It’s poetry. It’s a photograph of a moment in time. Every episode is an invitation to just sit within those verses and pictures and appreciate them, without judgment.” –  Jen Chaney, Vulture   “‘WE ARE WHO WE ARE’ Marches to Its Own Beat” “The cinematography is often stunning, like a food-fight tableau that suggests a more rambunctious Last Supper. The soundtrack mixes modern pop and hip-hop with classical pieces […] in a way that adds depth and tension to even the most leisurely afternoon spent in the company of Fraser and Caitlin, while making the bigger emotional moments soar.” –  Allen Sepinwall, Rolling Stone  Smartly layered and ripe with potential” “[…] WE ARE WHO WE ARE — a fictional American army base in northeastern Italy, where nobody feels like they belong — is so steeped in narrative potential that almost any of its characters could make for a compelling protagonist. […] the scripts (by Guadagnino, Paolo Giordano and Francesca Manieri) are meticulously crafted, guided in large part by the steady unearthing of the characters’ layers. They expose how each character copes with the sense of lostness they can’t quite shake no matter where they go, not-quite-blissfully unaware of the greater losses to come.” –  Inkoo Kang, The Hollywood Reporter   Crave Audience Metrics Crave continues to have Canadians covered, delivering the best movies, TV series, and original hits all in one place.
