SHARKNADO Creates a Perfect Storm in Canada as 300,000 Viewers Chomp into Friday’s Movie Premiere on Space

TORONTO (July 15, 2013) – Space took a bite out of primetime viewing last Friday night as the exclusive Canadian premiere of SHARKNADO drew in 300,000 total viewers, making it the #1 entertainment specialty program of the day. During its time slot, Space ranked as the #1 entertainment specialty network for total viewers and the A25-54 and A18-49 demos. Hot on the fins of a Twitter maelstrom during its U.S. premiere, the highly-buzzed about movie generated 22,513 Twitter mentions in Canada, resulting in 28 million total impressions.

Fans who missed out on all the excitement can watch the repeat airing of SHARKNADO tomorrow, Tuesday, July 16 at 9 p.m. ET, exclusively on Space.

Viewers were on the edge of their seats during the thrilling Canadian premiere of SHARKNADO on Space.
