The weekend is here and to celebrate SHOWTIME^® dropped a tease for the upcoming limited series, PATRICK MELROSE, staring the Oscar^® nominated actor Benedict Cumberbatch. Watch the full tease below. Based on the acclaimed Patrick Melrose books, the series fearlessly looks at the protagonist’s harrowing odyssey from a deeply traumatic childhood to his remarkable survival as an adult. Cumberbatch plays the titular character who struggles to overcome childhood trauma inflicted by his abusive father (Hugo Weaving) and a mother who tacitly condoned his behavior. PATRICK MELROSE begins streaming on CraveTV Saturday, May 12 at 9 p.m. ET, day-and-date with SHOWTIME in the US.
