TORONTO (February 13, 2014) – This March, The Comedy Network is declaring a state of emergency amusement with the premiere of much-anticipated, all-new comedy series SIRENS on Thursday, March 13 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. From Executive Producers Denis Leary and Bob Fisher, SIRENS follows three of Chicago’s best emergency medical technicians, whose sometimes silly, self-righteous, and even self-destructive personalities make them unqualified for sustaining relationships, friendships…and most occupations. They are however, uniquely qualified for saving a motley crew of people who end up in their ambulance.
The half-hour, 10-episode series stars Michael Mosley (LONGMIRE) as Johnny, a good-looking, sports-loving, Chicago EMT who works alongside his best friend Hank (Kevin Daniels, MODERN FAMILY); Brian (Kevin Bigley, BONES) as the wide-eyed and excitable new EMT who still lives with his parents; and Jessica McNamee (PACKED TO THE RAFTERS) as Theresa, a smart cop with the Chicago PD who still loves her non-committal ex, Johnny.

In the series premiere of SIRENS (Thursday, March 13 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT), Johnny and Hank are breaking in Brian, an eager new recruit. Johnny’s on again-off again relationship with Theresa is the main topic of the day. Hank implores him to move on, especially when he sees Theresa flirt with her new partner Danny, who Hank calls a dead ringer for Denzel Washington — but Johnny’s not ready to let go, even though it was his inability to commit that drove Theresa away. When he finds out that she has a date that very night, he enlists Hank and a reluctant Brian to help him with a stakeout.
