TORONTO (August 14, 2013) – Attention cosplayers, gamers, and lovers of all things pop culture! Canada’s largest genre convention, Fan Expo Canada, returns to Toronto from August 22-25 and Space and its flagship series INNERSPACE will be on the scene for every epic moment. Adding to this year’s Fan Expo buzz, Space is delivering a stellar list of its own talent to appear on some of the convention’s biggest panels including cast members from ORPHAN BLACK, BEING HUMAN, and upcoming Space Original Series BITTEN. Covering more ground than ever before, Space is making its mark on the Fan Expo floor with its biggest booth yet. Fans are encouraged to visit the Space booth (#1138) for autograph sessions with the stars of ORPHAN BLACK and BITTEN, the latest info on Space programming, and daily giveaways. A full re-cap of Fan Expo airs all week long on INNERSPACE daily at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET beginning Monday, Aug. 26.
Joining co-hosts Ajay Fry and Teddy Wilson on their quest to bring viewers the hottest genre news from Fan Expo and beyond, is flick fanatic and new INNERSPACE co-host Morgan Hoffman. No stranger to the INNERSPACE family, Morgan got her start behind the scenes as a floor director on INNERSPACE, ETALK, and CP24. After filling in as a guest host in April 2013, Morgan’s fun and quirky personality wowed audiences. She has been a staple on the show ever since. In just four short months, she’s interviewed the likes of John Cho, James Badge Dale, and legendary producer/director Guillermo del Toro. Fans have a chance to meet Ajay, Morgan, and Teddy at FAN EXPO at the Space booth: Thursday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. ET (photo opportunity), and Saturday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. ET (autograph session). Hosted by INNERSPACE, fans of the hit Space original series ORPHAN BLACK can join cast members Dylan Bruce, Jordan Gavaris, Kevin Hanchard, and co-creators Graeme Manson and John Fawcett at their Fan Expo panel Friday, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m. ET in Room #714. The cast will discuss the best moments from Season 1 and offer insight into what we can expect in Season 2, premiering in Spring 2014 on Space. On Saturday, Aug. 24 at 2 p.m. ET in Room #701B, INNERSPACE hosts a much-anticipated BEING HUMAN panel that includes stars Sam Witwer, Meaghan Rath, Sam Huntington, and Kristen Hager. Finally, Space is giving fans a taste of its exciting, upcoming original series BITTEN with a star-studded panel including Greg Bryk, Greyston Holt, Laura Vandervoort, and Steve Lund, Sunday, Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. ET in room #701A. BITTEN is set to premiere early 2014 on Space.
