How To Change The World – *Documentary Premiere*
In 1971, a group of friends sail into a nuclear test zone and their protest captures the world’s imagination, giving birth to Greenpeace and defining the modern green movement. Directed by Jerry Rothwell, this documentary chronicles the adventures of this eclectic group of young pioneers – Canadian hippie journalists, photographers, musicians, scientists, and American draft dodgers – who set out to stop Richard Nixon’s atomic bomb tests in Amchitka, Alaska, and end up making history.
A SEASON WITH NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL – *SHOWTIME Documentary Series*
From SHOWTIME Sports, this series chronicles the University of Notre Dame’s quest for a college football national championship with all-access coverage. The series stars Ruth Wilson (LUTHER) in her Golden Globe-winning role as Alison, a young woman attempting to move on from tragedy and build a lasting relationship while contending with the judgment of others and her own self-doubt. Her lover Noah (Golden Globe–nominee Dominic West, THE WIRE) is a burgeoning writer trying to balance the temptations of success, the family he left behind, and the woman he loves. DEAD LIKE ME – *Seasons 1 & 2, SHOWTIME Comedy Series*
A college dropout, Georgia Lass (Ellen Muth) is killed by a toilet seat that falls from the MIR space station on her first day at a temporary job as a filing clerk. Upon death, she is recruited by a team of grim reapers who mix among the living and take people’s souls just before they die. Along with fellow team members Mason (Callum Blue), Roxy (Jasmine Guy), and leader Rube (Mandy Patinkin), George learns how to live life after death.
