Sylvia Côté Appointed Senior Director, Operations and Administration, for Bell Media’s Six Montréal Radio Stations

MONTRÉAL (February 26, 2014) – Martin Spalding, Vice-President, Radio Operations and Local Sales, Québec, Bell Media, announced today the appointment of Sylvia Côté as Senior Director of Operations and Administration, Radio 6 Montréal, which includes NRJ 94.3, 107,3 Rouge fm, Virgin Radio 96, CHOM 97 7, CJAD 800, and TSN Radio 690 Montréal.

In her new position, Côté will ensure Radio 6 stations meet all strategic and budgetary objectives, by creating optimal organizational conditions that encourage synergies between the programming, sales, communications, production, engineering, finance, and administrative departments.

“Sylvia Côté has a wealth of media experience, a comprehensive understanding of radio, and remarkable leadership skills that will contribute greatly to the success of our operations,” said Martin Spalding.

With more than 25 years of experience in the media industry, Sylvia Côté made her mark as a skilled and effective manager. She served as Astral’s Vice-President of Programming at Ztélé from 2001 to 2005, and as General Manager at Astral Radio from 2005 to 2007. Most recently she was General Manager at TVA Productions and General Manager/Executive Producer at TC Media.

Sylvia Côté will assume her new position on March 10, 2014.
