TORONTO (August 20, 2020) – Game, Set, Match! TSN is Canada’s exclusive home of the biggest events in tennis as the network delivers world-class coverage of the sport’s return-to-play, headlined by the US OPEN, airing Aug. 31 – Sept. 13. TSN’s robust tennis calendar includes Premier WTA Tour and ATP Tour 1000 and 500 series events, kicking off with live coverage of the WESTERN AND SOUTHERN OPEN, as TSN delivers both the men’s and women’s draws from this combined WTA and ATP event, beginning Saturday, Aug. 22 at 11 a.m. ET on TSN. The women’s draw at the event is headlined by 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams, 2020 AUSTRALIAN OPEN champion Sofia Kenin, and 16-year-old American phenom Coco Gauff. Canada’s Leylah Annie Fernandez is currently competing in qualifying matches for the event. The men’s field includes World #1-ranked player Novak Djokovic as well as Canadian stars Denis Shapovalov, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Milos Raonic. As Canada’s exclusive home of Grand Slam tennis, TSN’s multi-court coverage of the US OPEN begins Monday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. ET, live from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre in New York City. Bonus multi-court feeds are available to TSN and TSN Direct subscribers through the TSN app, and the TSN Multiplex player on TSN.ca. TSN’s Mark Roe hosts the network’s live coverage, and delivers up-to-the-minute breaking news from the tournament including interviews, highlights, and recaps for SPORTSCENTRE and TSN.ca.
