The Adventure Ends for Dating Couple from British Columbia on CTV’s THE AMAZING RACE CANADA

At theconclusion of tonight’s episode of CTV’s THEAMAZING RACE CANADA, it was revealed that Kristen and Darren, the datingcouple from Fairmont Hot Springs, BC, were the third team eliminated from thecompetition series. After falling behind in the first challenge, the outdoorenthusiasts were forced to take the last flight to Carcross, Yukon, which leftthem struggling to catch-up with the other teams. In the end, it was Kristenand Darren’s decision to perform the “supply run” detour instead of using theirexpress pass which resulted in their last place finish to the mat.

When asked why they didn’t use the express pass, Kristensaid, “Handing in an express pass withoutreally trying a challenge is kind of like copping out. Why not give it a shot,why not try, why not experience what that challenge has to offer instead oftaking off? It doesn’t seem like a good choice because; I don’t understand whyyou wouldn’t just want to experience everything you can.”
Next week on THEAMAZING RACE CANADA (airing Monday, Aug. 12 at 9 p.m.ET/PT on CTV and liveon CTV Mobile), the teams head to Regina, SK, where theyget buried by lentils, then drilled by the RCMP. And the first double U-Turn ofthe Race sends the teams into a panic. The remaining competitors vying for thehistoric half a million dollar grand prize are:
