TORONTO (June 11, 2013) – Olympian and THE AMAZING RACE CANADA host Jon Montgomery takes on a new challenge when he joins Bev Thomson and Marci Ien at the CANADA AM hosting desk on Monday, July 15 from 8-9 a.m. ET, in advance of the series premiere of this summer’s most-anticipated new series later that night on CTV. As part of his co-hosting duties, the gold medalist will:

• Challenge Jeff at the Weather Board
• Share his favourite places in the country with Bev, Marci, and Jeff
• Chat with super-blogger Hannah Alper about the first camp experience from a kid’s perspective
• Join Bev on the CANADA AM patio to talk about the secrets of Summer Sake
• And reveal insider information about what to expect from the inaugural season of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, including the teams, the locations, and the challenges.

THE AMAZING RACE CANADA premieres Monday, July 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV. The inaugural season of the much anticipated summer series features nine teams who compete in an exhilarating 23,000 km race across Canada.
