THE AMAZING RACE CANADA Makes a Midway Pit Stop with After-Show Special AFTER THE RACE, Aug. 19 on CTV

TORONTO (August 10, 2015) – As Canada’s #1 summer series THE AMAZING RACE CANADA nears its Season 3 midway point, CTV announced today that for a second year in a row it will produce and broadcast a one-hour, mid-season, after-show special, AFTER THE RACE. Taped in front of a studio audience from CTV’s headquarters in Toronto, AFTER THE RACE airs Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV GO, immediately following Episode 7 of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA in most markets (check local listings). Hosted by TSN’s James Duthie (@tsnjamesduthie), AFTER THE RACE reunites all of this season’s eliminated teams, and features a look back at the most talked-about moments from the first seven episodes. One of Canada’s most celebrated sportscasters, as well as a self-professed super-fan of the hit series, the Canadian Screen Award and three-time Gemini Award-winning Duthie returns to talk to the eliminated teams about their experience on The Amazing Race Canada, and gain personal insight into the highs and lows of their incredible journey. The eliminated teams confirmed so far to appear in AFTER THE RACE are: Max and Elias, Susan and Sharnjit, Dana and Amanda, and Hamilton and Michaelia, with an additional team or teams to be announced following their elimination.
