TORONTO (December 15, 2016) – The college football season culminates on TSN as Canada’s Sports Leader delivers exclusive Canadian coverage of the COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF. TSN’s 16-game bowl schedule begins with a triple threat of bowl games across the TSN network on Saturday, Dec. 17, concluding with the COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game on Monday, Jan. 9 (see below for a complete broadcast schedule).

The COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF format features the Top 4 teams in college football facing off in the semifinals on Saturday, Dec. 31 with #4-ranked Washington facing #1-ranked Alabama in the PEACH BOWL at 3 p.m. ET on TSN2, followed by #3-ranked Ohio State vs. #2-ranked Clemson in the FIESTA BOWL at 7 p.m. ET. The winners of the semifinals then compete for college football’s biggest prize: the CFP NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game, kicking off Monday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on TSN1, TSN4, and TSN5.

TSN’s coverage of the college football bowl season includes a slate of highly anticipated matchups including Louisville and Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson taking on LSU, and a tripleheader of classic bowl games on Jan. 2 including the COTTON BOWL CLASSIC, ROSE BOWL, and SUGAR BOWL.
