TORONTO (December 2, 2014) – The holidays are made for over-indulging on food…and television. This holiday season, The Comedy Network delivers enough stand-up specials and marathons to stuff the most ravenous comedy appetites. First up is Jeff Dunham’s all-new stand-up special, JEFF DUNHAM: ALL OVER THE MAP, premiering Saturday, Dec. 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The laughs continue with returning fan-favourite holiday specials, JEFF DUNHAM’S VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS SPECIAL (Saturday, Dec. 13), and A RUSSELL PETERS CHRISTMAS, (Wednesday, Dec. 17).
On Monday, Dec. 8, Comedy begins rolling out fan-favourite marathons. The laugh-a-thon begins with the CHRISTMAS IN SPRINGFIELD marathon, featuring the best Christmas episodes of THE SIMPSONS. Then, Santa makes a stop in Dog River with the CORNER GAS-A-THON, beginning Monday, Dec. 22 at 6 a.m. ET/PT, featuring some of the most beloved CORNER GAS episodes, and a special airing of CORNER GAS: THE MOVIE at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Christmas week is epic with THE COMPLETE BIG BANG-A-THON, which includes every episode of THE BIG BANG THEORY from Season 1-7, beginning Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 12 p.m. ET/PT. Bazinga!
Finally, holiday blues are a thing of the past, as viewers kick off the new year catching up on Comedy’s newest hit sitcoms with the SIRENS MARATHON, beginning Friday, Jan. 2, at 10 a.m. ET/PT, and the GROUND FLOOR MARATHON beginning Friday, Jan. 2 at 3 p.m. ET/PT. Lastly, Comedy bestows viewers with the JUST FOR LAUGHS MARATHON beginning Saturday, Dec. 20 at 6 a.m. ET/PT, featuring best of galas and Comedy original series JUST FOR LAUGHS: ALL ACCESS. Last but not least, viewers can feast on a smorgasbord of brand-new stand up specials, with the HAPPY NEW STAND UP MARATHON beginning Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 12 p.m. ET/PT, featuring premiere specials from Louis C.K., Lewis Black, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, and George Carlin.

Saturday, Dec. 6
JEFF DUNHAM – ALL OVER THE MAP
This two-hour stand-up special follows comedian Jeff Dunham and his puppets, as they embark on an unprecedented world tour across five continents, Saturday, Dec. 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Dunham encounters obstacles from being forbidden to bring Achmed on stage in Malaysia, to the possibility of imprisonment for telling a joke deemed offensive in Singapore or the United Arab Emirates.

CHRISTMAS IN SPRINGFIELD
Everyone’s favourite dysfunctional family celebrates the holidays with the best holiday-themed episodes of THE SIMPSONS, including “Miracle on Evergreen Terrace”, “Grift of the Magi”, “Holidays of Future Passed”, and many more, weeknights at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.

It’s been five years and there’s still not a lot going on 40 kilometers from nowhere. But that’s all about to change as the fine folks of Dog River, Saskatchewan face their biggest crisis ever in CORNER GAS: THE MOVIE, premiering Monday, Dec. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Brent and the gang discover that the town’s been badly mismanaged, leaving residents with little choice but to pack up and leave. As residents make one last rally to save Dog River as they know it, they discover a devious plan by a corporate giant that would change life for Dog Riverites forever.

SIRENS CATCH UP MARATHON
Viewers can catch up on Season 1 of Chicago’s best emergency medical technicians, whose silly, self-righteous, and even self-destructive personalities make them unqualified for sustaining relationships, friendships, and most occupations, the binging begins at 10 a.m. ET/PT.
GROUND FLOOR CATCH UP MARATHON
Viewers can catch up on Season 1 with Brody (Skylar Astin, Pitch Perfect) and Jennifer (Briga Heelan, COUGAR TOWN) as they go through the ups and downs of their very unique romance, the laughs begin at 3 p.m. ET/PT.
