Monday, Dec. 2

9 p.m.THE TWELVE TREES OF CHRISTMAS (2013) *Movie Premiere*

Cheri Jamison (Lindy Booth, Kick Ass 2) rallies the residents of her beloved Manhattan neighborhood to participate in a Christmas tree contest when her cherished local library is abruptly set for demolition. Cheri finds herself up against an ambitious developer Tony Shaughnessy (Robin Dunne, SANCTUARY), who hires Cordelia (Melanie Brown, Spice World), a professional decorator, to win the contest for him. The competition is on, but as Cheri works to save the library she discovers that Tony is more than the heartless man she thought.

9 p.m.THE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT (2013) *Movie Premiere*

Newly widowed Kathy (Kellie Martin, ARMY WIVES) plans to skip out on Christmas festivities, trying to avoid anything that will bring back memories of her late husband. When Kathy meets handsome Christmas tree shop owner Tim (Cameron Mathison, ALL MY CHILDREN), their undeniable chemistry — along with an ornament Tim gives her that symbolizes hope — helps Kathy open up to the joys of the season again. With the support of her best friend Jenna (Jewel Staite, STARGATE: ATLANTIS), and the budding relationship with Tim, Kathy begins to embrace the hopeful message of the ornament.

9 p.m.PETE’S CHRISTMAS (2013) *Movie Premiere*

When Pete Kidder’s (Zachary Gordon, Diary of a Wimpy Kid) grumpy grandfather (Bruce Dern, Django Unchained) unexpectedly comes to town for Christmas, the pressure is on to make the day as great as Grandpa remembers with his late wife, but instead, the holiday is filled with disastrous moments. Just when things can’t get any worse, Pete wakes up the next day and realizes he’s reliving December 25th all over again.

Tuesday, Dec. 10

9 p.m.CHRISTMAS WITH TUCKER (2013) *Movie Premiere*

In the months following his father’s death, a 13-year-old boy forms a special bond with a neighbor’s dog named Tucker, and learns to be a man by helping his grandparents and farmland community through a series of dangerous winter storms nearing Christmas. However, the upcoming Christmas promises to be one to remember, as the young boy learns first-hand the importance of responsibility, the faithfulness of friends, and the power of love. CHRISTMAS WITH TUCKER stars James Brolin (MARCUS WELBY, M.D.), Gage Munroe (Immortals), and Josie Bissett (MELROSE PLACE).

8 p.m.A VERY MERRY MIX-UP (2013) *Movie Premiere*

Shop owner Alice Chapman (Alicia Witt, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS) is nervous to meet her future in-laws at Christmas, especially because she is arriving ahead of her new fiancé, Will Mitchum (Scott Gibson, THE PACIFIC). Alice’s trip becomes more stressful when her luggage is lost and her phone is damaged, leaving her no way to find Will’s family, until she meets her future brother-in-law, Matt Mitchum (Mark Wiebe, Sweet Karma), at baggage claim. As Alice meets Matt’s doting family, she falls in love with their festive holiday traditions and warm welcome to their home. When unexpected romance comes calling, Alice must decide if her “Merry Mix-Up” will actually turn out to be her destiny.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

8 p.m.HOLIDAY WISHES (2006) *Movie Premiere*

Britney (Britt McKillip, DEAD LIKE ME), a rich, spoiled child, and Rachel (Katie Keating, The Exorcism of Emily Rose), an orphan, switch bodies after a visit to the mall with Santa Claus. Each girl wakes up as the other; Britney is in the orphanage, and Rachel is at Britney’s family’s mansion. With the magical intervention of Danni Hartford (Amber Benson, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER), a professional party planner, Rachel teaches Britney’s unloving family the true meaning of Christmas, and Britney learns that giving is better than getting.

6 p.m.HOLIDAY SPIN (2012)

In this Canadian film, Ruben (Ralph Macchio, Hitchcock) stars as a former dance champion sidelined years ago by an injury. When his estranged son Blake (Garrett Clayton, SHAKE IT UP) comes to live with him, he enlists his help in preparing for the “Holiday Spin,” a ballroom dance contest which takes place every Christmas Eve.

6 p.m.BABY’S FIRST CHRISTMAS (2012)

In this Canadian film, a pair of feuding colleagues Kyle (Casper Van Dien, WATCH OVER ME) and Jenna (Ottawa-native Rachel Wilson, REPUBLIC OF DOYLE) are thrown together after their siblings, Jim (Toronto-native Noah Cappe, THE DATING GUY) and Trisha (BC-native Natale Lisinska, INSECURITY) fall in love. They have to learn to get along in time for their nephew’s birth on Christmas. Realizing Jim and Trisha have major money troubles, Kyle and Jenna band together to help and end up on a snowy New York adventure that proves miracles really do happen at Christmas.

SATURDAY CHRISTMAS MOVIES

6 p.m.COME DANCE WITH ME (2012)

This romantic, Canadian movie follows Jack Kesman (Andrew McCarthy, LIPSTICK JUNGLE), a financial planner  who decides to take dance lessons to impress his girlfriend (Stephanie Mills, GOOD GOD, TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND), who also happens to be his boss’s daughter. However, after a few lessons with his kind-hearted dance instructor, Christine (Ontario-native Michelle Nolden, SAVING HOPE), the two develop a strong connection, causing Jack to have a change of heart.

6 p.m.A CHRISTMAS SONG (2012)

In this Canadian film, budget cuts force the merger of two New York City high schools. Music teachers, Diana Deason (Newfoundland-native Natasha Henstridge, THE SECRET CIRCLE), and Ken Stoddard (Toronto-native Gabriel Hogan, HEARTLAND) aim to compete in the largest, televised Christmas Carol competition that will determine the fate of the school’s music program and the teachers’ jobs.

As one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, everyone knows who Nikki Crandon (Shannon Elizabeth, American Pie) is — none more so than Chris Mitchell (Steve Byers, THE L.A. COMPLEX), Nikki’s first love from high school. When Chris’ 10-year-old daughter Sophie (Julia Lalonde, GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS) finds out her dad still has feelings for the singer, she takes matters into her own hands.

CHRISTMAS MOVIE MARATHON

6 a.m.JACK FROST (1998) (Encores at 3:45 a.m.)

Jack Frost (Michael Keaton, Batman Returns), is a musician who works too much, leaving little time for his wife Gabby (Kelly Preston, Casino Jack) and son Charlie (Joseph Cross, Milk). Feeling guilty for missing his son’s hockey practice, he decides to forego his big audition to spend Christmas with his family. While driving home, Jack dies in a tragic auto accident. The following Christmas, Charlie builds a snowman and decorates it with his father’s old clothes. When he plays his father’s harmonica, Jack Frost returns home in the body of the snowman.

8 a.m.CHRISTMAS MAGIC (2011) (Encores at 4 p.m.)

In this Canadian film, Carrie Bishop (Ontario-native Lindy Booth, OCTOBER ROAD) suffers from a severe car accident and is put on “Angel Duty” as her last task on Earth before she can “pass over” to Heaven. She must help and guide a young restaurant owner (Paul McGillion, STARGATE: ATLANTIS), who is depressed because his restaurant is weeks away from shutting its doors. However, along the way, she learns a lot more about herself – more so than when she was actually alive.

10 a.m.THE CASE FOR CHRISTMAS (2011) (Encores at 11 p.m.)

In this Canadian film, everyone is losing faith in Santa (Toronto-raised George Buza, X-Men), as he’s being sued for ruining Christmas. Young lawyer, Michael Sherman (Dean Cain, LOIS & CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN) takes Santa on as his client to defend him against wealthy businessman Braxton Bennett (Barry Flatman, THE KENNEDYS). When it comes out that the lawsuit is all for Braxton’s own financial gain, Michael helps save Christmas and finds love along the way.

12 p.m.CHRISTMAS MAIL (2010)

In this holiday romantic comedy, a mysterious woman Kristi North (Ashley Scott, JERICHO) who works at the Post Office answering Santa’s mail captures the heart of a disillusioned postal carrier Matt Sanders (A.J Buckley, CSI: NY).

2 p.m.MISTLETOE OVER MANHATTAN (2011)

In this Canadian film, Santa Claus, (Ontario-native Mairtin O’Carrigan, Rock, Paper, Scissors: The Way of the Tosser) loses his holiday spirit. Mrs. Claus (Teddey Moore, THE KENNEDYS), comes up with a master plan to help him recapture his bliss in the one place she knows the spirit of Christmas must still exist: New York City.

Dec. 22 at 6 p.m.THE WIZARD OF OZ (1939)

The Wizard of Oz follows Dorothy (Judy Garland, Meet Me in St. Louis) and her dog Toto are caught in a tornado’s path and somehow end up in the land of Oz.

8:15 p.m.IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE (1946) (Encores at 1 a.m.)

One of the most popular films of all-time and a perennial holiday favourite, IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE follows an angel who helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman George (Jimmy Stewart, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington), contemplating suicide, by showing him what life would have been like if he never existed.

Monday, Dec. 23

CHRISTMAS MOVIE MARATHON

6 a.m.3 HOLIDAY TAILS (2011) (Encores at 4 p.m. and 2 a.m.)

Rod (Bruce Davison, X-MEN) and Katherine Wright (Alley Mills, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL) are enjoying their retirement in Florida – or so they’re telling each other. Actually, Rod’s been bored with nothing to do, and Katherine misses her kids back home, especially with Christmas right around the corner. At least they’ve made friends with their new neighbour Lisa (Julie Gonzalo, DALLAS), who’s a golden retriever fan like them. Rod and Katherine’s dog, Jake takes off during a walk with Lisa and interrupts a wedding proposal. Lisa is mortified to discover the proposer is none other than her lifelong-friend-turned-boyfriend-turned-ex, David (K.C. Clyde, Something New).

8 a.m.ANYTHING BUT CHRISTMAS (2012) (Encores at 6 p.m.)

John (Sergio Di Zio, FLASHPOINT) loves Grace (Elaine Hendrix, The Parent Trap) and her 10-year-old son, Zachary (Sean Michael Kryer, Everything And Everyone). Although he wants to propose to her at Christmas, it’s the one holiday John runs from. Chaos with exes, misunderstandings, parents and in-laws all imperil John and Grace’s relationship.

12 p.m.LOVE FOR CHRISTMAS (2012) (Encores at 10 p.m. and 4 a.m.)

A heartwarming Christmas romance about love, loss, and hope, LOVE FOR CHRISTMAS follows two unlucky and unlikely people Heather (Shantel Vansanten, ONE TREE HILL) and Bobby (Rob Mayes, 90210). Despite their contrasting personalities, they end up falling in love at Christmas. But can they overcome the issues of their past and present in order to build a future together?

Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. – A CHRISTMAS KISS (2011) (Encores at 12 a.m.)

A CHRISTMAS KISS is a modern day fairytale about Wendy Walton (Laura Breckenridge, GOSSIP GIRL), a well-known designer and Adam Hugher (BC-native Brendan Fehr, Adopting Terror), a wealthy philanthropist who fall in love. However, Wendy’s boss, Priscilla Hall (Elisabeth Rohm, THE CLIENT LIST) makes it difficult for the two to be together.

8 a.m.A GOLDEN CHRISTMAS (2009) (Encores at 4 a.m.)

Jessica (Andrea Roth, RINGER) is a federal lawyer who returns to her parent’s home for Christmas. When she discovers that the house where she grew up was sold to a stranger, Jessica looks for ways to buy it back again. She tries to get Michael (Nicholas Brendon, CRIMINAL MINDS), the new owner arrested, but she also doesn’t remember who he really is.

Single mother Ryan (Tricia Helfer, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) finds Christmas romance when an online home exchange brings a new man into her life. FINDING CHRISTMAS also stars Mark Lutz (GHOST WHISPERER: THE OTHER SIDE), Cristina Rosato (TRAUMA), and country singer JT Hodges,

Dec. 25 at 6 a.m.MRS. DOUBTFIRE (1993)

Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) is no ordinary father, so when he learns his ex-wife (Sally Field) needs a housekeeper, he applies for the job. With the perfect wig, a little makeup and a dress for all occasions, he becomes Mrs. Doubtfire, a devoted British nanny who is hired on the spot. Free to be the “woman” he never knew he could be, the disguised Daniel creates a whole new life with his entire family.

8:45 a.m.BACK TO THE FUTURE (1985)

Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is blasted to 1955 in the time machine created by Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and finds himself in a time-shattering situation that jeopardizes his future.

11:15 a.m.BACK TO THE FUTURE 2 (1989)

Marty McFly and Doc Brown launch themselves to the year 2015 to fine-tune the future and inadvertently disrupt the space/time continuum.

1:30 p.m.BACK TO THE FUTURE 3 (1990)

Marty McFly travels to 1885 to rescue Doc Brown and put the past, present and future on track so they can all get back to where – and when – they belong.

4 p.m.UNSTOPPABLE (2010) (Encores at 10:30 p.m. and Dec. 26 at 3 p.m.)

With an unmanned runaway train carrying toxic chemicals about to derail near a medium-Sized town, a brave engineer (Denzel Washington) and a young conductor (Chris Pine, Star Trek) give chase in a locomotive and stop the train in the nick of time.

6 p.m.SHOOTER (2007) (Encores at 5 a.m. and Dec. 26 at 12:30 p.m.)

Bob Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg), a marksman living in exile, is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the president. Ultimately double-crossed and framed for the attempt, he goes on the run to track the real killer and find out who exactly set him up, and why.

8:30 p.m.SOURCE CODE (2011) (Encores at 3 a.m.)

A bomb explodes on a Chicago train, derailing the locomotive and killing hundreds. In an attempt to identify the bomber and prevent another, larger attack on downtown Chicago, Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) agrees to take part in a clandestine government experiment dubbed “Source Code,” which allows him to enter the body of a male passenger during the eight minutes before the man is killed.

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise), a secret agent, is framed for the deaths of his espionage team.

Pulled from the sea with two bullets in his back, Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) discovers he has the skills of a very dangerous man and no memory of his violent past. Racing to unlock the secret of his own identity, he discovers the deadly truth: he’s an elite government agent.
