Montreal (September 30, 2015)—RDS and the Ford Dealers Association of Quebec are joining forces for the seventh edition of the GRAND POOL FORD, which remains Canada’s most popular hockey pool with over 87,000 participants last season.
Where, When and How
Fans can sign up free of charge now for the GRAND POOL FORD by using the dedicated app—downloaded over 50,000 times last season on
iTunes and
Google Play—or by visiting
RDS.ca and make their picks in the 25 rounds of the pool. Over the course of the season, users will be able to join the pool at any given time. There will also be ten trade periods during which participants will be able to change their pick in one of the rounds.
Integration into RDS Flagship Programs
This year, FAITES VOS JEUX, which is essential viewing for pool lovers on RDS, joins the flagship programs directly associated with the GRAND POOL FORD: 5 À 7, HOCKEY 360 and L’ANTICHAMBRE. Each program’s team, respectively represented by Martin Lemay, André Roy, Marc Denis and Denis Gauthier, made their picks during a special edition of L’ANTICHAMBRE (part
1 and
2).
Thanks to various segments presented at least once a week as part of our programs—pool standings in 5 À 7 and L’ANTICHAMBRE,
De feu et de glace in HOCKEY 360, fantasy analysis in FAITES VOS JEUX and the
Rendez-vous des poolers in SPORTS 30—the GRAND POOL FORD will continue to generate discussions on RDS’s main platforms throughout the 2015-2016 season.
What’s more, for each trade period, Martin Lemay will offer live chat sessions and strategy analysis segments on the
official RDS Facebook page.
You Can’t Miss It!
In addition to presence in RDS progams, the GRAND POOL FORD will be supported by a series of promotional activities, including 15- and 30-second TV spots, radio ads and on-air mentions along with a host of digital advertising and social media posts, all of which will be released via various RDS, ÉNERGIE and Bell Media channels, stations and digital/social media platforms.
The Prize?A number of
prizes will be available to GRAND POOL FORD participants, including the grand prize: a 2016 Ford Focus SE, with the winner to be drawn randomly from all participants. For more details, consult the
