TORONTO (August 18, 2020)  THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW announced today a new brand partnership with IKEA to promote the global Swedish retailer’s upcoming 2021 Catalogue, running now until August 23. The campaign aims to give viewers inspiration to create an inexpensive, stylish, and functional space, while they spend more time at home than ever. The campaign features a 30-second co-branded commercial airing on CTV and CTV2, as well as CTV Life, CTV Comedy, CTV Drama, E!, Much, MTV , Discovery, Animal Planet, and Discovery Science. As well, the partnership includes three THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW integrations featuring host Marilyn Denis and design experts Tommy Smythe and Kasia Waloszczyk, and accompanying THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW Pinterest theme boards based on IKEA’s “how to” categories. “We’re thrilled to be working with IKEA on this exciting and stylish campaign that demonstrates THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW as a destination to find inspiration for all areas of life,” said Justin Stockman, Vice-President, Brand Partnerships and Client Strategy. “This partnership gives viewers a unique look at the upcoming 2021 IKEA Catalogue, while showcasing the custom, multi-platform content opportunities that MARILYN offers international brands.” The new in-show, co-branded commercial spot features host Marilyn and Tommy Smythe humorously reminding listeners that it’s time to check out the 2021 IKEA Catalogue. Tommy Smythe is featured in segments that highlight sleep and sustainability, while Kasia Waloszczyk shares tips on how to support goals and habits in a segment about organization. In support of these segments, three custom IKEA Pinterest boards are available on THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW’s Pinterest profile for inspiration and information. The IKEA partnership will also be integrated in the new original podcast MARILYN DENIS DOES A PODCAST through live reads. New episodes are available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are found.
