Hot off the heels of its successful first season, CTV’s original daily talk series THE SOCIAL kicks off its second season on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 1 p.m. ET (2 p.m. AT) on CTV and the CTV GO app. With loyal fans who join the conversation daily and have as many opinions as THE SOCIAL’s no-holds-barred co-hosts, THE SOCIAL currently reaches more than 2 million viewers weekly on CTV, and is the second most-watched Canadian lifestyle series nationally behind only THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW.
Hosted by moderator Melissa Grelo (@melissagrelo), relationship expert Cynthia Loyst (@cynthialoyst), Canada’s foremost gossip blogger Lainey Lui (@LaineyGossip), and entertainment reporter Traci Melchor (@stayfabulous), THE SOCIAL will continue to debate and discuss the lifestyle and entertainment topics that matter most to Canadians.

Season 1 featured a number of amazing guest co-hosts including Jann Arden, Emily Procter, Elisha Cuthbert, Wendy Crewson, Sarah Rafferty, Arielle Kebbel, Debbie Travis, and Lauren Holly, among others. Guest co-hosts will continue to appear throughout THE SOCIAL’s second season, including Arden who’s set to return the week of Nov. 3.
“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be co-hosting THE SOCIAL again with my fine and beautiful “social” ladies!,” said Jann Arden. “I have been working for months on my outfits and feel as though I am ready to take the television world by storm. I even have a few hot topics I want to bring to the table – but that’s a secret.”
