Marci had this to say about the honour:

“You know you’ve done something right in your career when students come up to you and say they aspire to be journalists because of you and because of your work. That happened many times last night. What an honour. I looked out at that sea of students from the stage I was sitting on and smiled. Our future is in good hands, I thought.”

“To the students, they must remember that there are no limits, none at all. Hard work and perseverance are key. The only limits that exist are the ones we put on ourselves. It’s ok to fall, everyone does. Just get back up! Keep moving.”

Congratulations, Marci!
