This Saturday, starting at 4:30 p.m., RDS presents the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier, a major curling championship sanctioned by the Canadian Curling Association.
Just a few days after the thrilling success of Canadian curlers at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, Canada’s top players will take over the Interior Savings Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia, as they seek to become this year’s national champions. Given the deep talent pool that exists in Canada, fans will be able to enjoy a level of play comparable to what was seen in Russia, where the foursome led by Brad Jacobs won the gold medal.
Alain Usereau and Daniel Aucoin will take turns handling the play-by-play, while Guy Hemmings will provide analysis of the various draws.
TSN will broadcast the english coverage of the Brier Tim Hortons as of this Saturday, starting at 4:30 p.m. ET.
