  • INNERSPACE returns from San Diego’s Comic-Con armed with two action-packed specials airing Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2 at 6 p.m. ET. Then from Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. ET to Thursday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. ET, INNERSPACE looks back at the year’s best stories as chosen by the co-hosts.
  • Action movie fans should brace themselves for an explosive Civic Holiday with the MEN OF ACTION MARATHON. From terrorists and terminators, to heroes and hellions, the thrill ride runs from Saturday, Aug. 3 through Monday Aug. 5.
  • Space continues to deliver mind-blowing thrillers with the movie premieres of SHARK WEEK, Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 9 p.m. ET), CASE 39 (Saturday, Aug. 10 at 10 p.m. ET), BATTLEDOGS (Saturday, Aug. 17 at 10 p.m. ET), and GHOST SHARK (Saturday, Aug. 24 at 10 p.m. ET).
  • Mutants, aliens and goblins return to the magical world of special effects with the Season 4 FACE OFF MARATHON starting Saturday, Aug. 10 at 1:30 p.m. ET and continuing on Sunday August 11 at 11am, followed by the Season 5 premiere, Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 9 p.m. ET.
  • Life imitates art as Space examines the world of costume play with the series premiere of HEROES OF COSPLAY, Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 10:30 p.m. ET.
  • Joe Rogan’s inquisitive quest comes to a close, for now, with the Season 1 finale of JOE ROGAN QUESTIONS EVERYTHING, Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 10 p.m. ET.

Thursday, Aug. 1

6 p.m. – INNERSPACE: SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON MOVIE SPECIAL

INNERSPACE gives viewers an insiders look at the year’s hottest movies from this year’s Comic-Con, featuring Ender’s Game, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and much more.

Friday, Aug. 2

6 p.m. – INNERSPACE: SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON TELEVISION SPECIAL

INNERSPACE returns from Comic-Con with a sneak peek at some of the hottest shows on television including ORPHAN BLACK, DOCTOR WHO, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, and the much anticipated MARVEL’S: AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Saturday, Aug. 3

MEN OF ACTION MOVIE MARATHON

6 a.m. – MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE (1987)

A life-action feature film based on the popular cartoon series about a prince turned warrior named He-Man. Starring Dolph Lundgren (Universal Soldier), Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon), and Courteney Cox (FRIENDS).

4:30 p.m. – TRANSFORMERS (2007)

The interstellar battle between the Autobots and Decepticons rains destruction down on planet Earth as director Michael Bay (Armageddon) adapts Hasbro and Takara’s popular Transformers franchise. This ambitious sci-fi action feature starring Shia LaBeouf (Disturbia), Tyrese Gibson (2 Fast 2 Furious), Josh Duhamel (Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!), and John Turturro (Mr. Deeds).

7:30 p.m. – TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN (2009)

The battle for Earth continues in this action-packed blockbuster. When college-bound Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers, he joins Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in their epic battle against the Decepticons, who have returned with a plan to destroy our world.

Sunday, Aug. 4

MEN OF ACTION MOVIE MARATHON

9 p.m. – THE EXPENDABLES (2010)

When Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone, Rocky), leader of THE EXPENDABLES – a tight-knit team of skilled combat vets turned mercenaries – is hired by a powerful covert operator, the team jets off to a small South American country to overthrow a ruthless dictator. Once there, they find themselves caught in a deadly web of deceit and betrayal. Using every weapon at their disposal, they set out to save the innocent and punish the guilty in this blistering action-packed thriller.

11:15 p.m. – THE PUNISHER (2004)

Special agent Frank Castle (Thomas Jane, Deep Blue Sea) had it all: A loving family, a great life, and an adventurous job. But when his life is taken away from him by a ruthless criminal and his associates, Frank is reborn as The Punisher. Now serving as judge, jury, and executioner, he’s a new kind of vigilante out to wage a one man war against those who have done him wrong.

1:45 a.m.  – TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY (1991)

Almost ten years have passed since Sarah Connor’s (Linda Hamilton, HILL STREET BLUES) ordeal began, and her son John (Edward Furlong, American History X), the future leader of the resistance, is now a healthy young boy. The cyborg who once tried to kill Sarah Connor is dead, and another T-101 (Arnold Schwarzenegger, Predator) must now protect her teenage son from an even more powerful and advanced Terminator, the T-1000.

Monday, Aug. 5

MEN OF ACTION MOVIE MARATHON

9:15 a.m. –THE A-TEAM (2010)

A group of Iraq War veterans look to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed. The team of former Special Forces soldiers must utilize their unique talents to break out of prison and tackle their toughest mission yet. Buckle up for an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride starring Liam Neeson (Schindler’s List), and Bradley Cooper (The Hangover).

11:45 a.m. – UNDER SIEGE (1992)

A former navy seal, now a cook , Casey Ryback (Steven Seagal, Exit Wounds) is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they seize control of a US Navy battleship with the intent to steal its warheads.

1:55 p.m. – UNDER SIEGE 2: DARK TERRITORY (1995)

The cook returns for this non-stop action thriller! Casey Ryback (Steven Seagal, Exit Wounds), must escort his niece across the continental U.S by train. Early into the trip, terrorists board the train and use it as a mobile HQ to hijack a top secret destructive U.S. satellite.

Tuesday, Aug. 6

9 p.m. – SHARK WEEK (2013) *Movie Premiere*

A wealthy sadist traps a group of strangers on his secluded island fortress, and forces them to fight for their lives against a relentless onslaught of man-eating sharks; each species more vicious than the last. SHARK WEEK stars Yancy Butler (Kick-Ass).

1:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.   – FACE OFF MARATHON

Season 4 introduces a highly creative group of special effects make-up artists who meet face to face in Los Angeles to compete in a series of eye-popping challenges that determine who has the artistry and passion to win. Fourteen aspiring special effects makeup artists join Host McKenzie Westmore and returning Judges Ve Neill, Glenn Hetrick, and Neville Page.

10 p.m. CASE 39 (2009) *Movie Premiere*

In this terrifying, supernatural thriller, a social worker has been assigned to the unusual and disturbing case of Lillith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse), a girl with a strange and mysterious past. When Emily (Renee Zellweger, Chicago) opens her home in an attempt to help Lillith, it turns into a deadly nightmare she may not survive.

Sunday, Aug. 11

11 a.m. – 5 p.m. – FACE OFF MARATHON

The FACE OFF MARATHON continues with imaginative human transformations, striking original characters, and dreamlike creatures all leading to the Season 4 finale.

5 p.m. – FACE OFF: The Vets Strike Back *New Episode*

This all-new special episode reintroduces eight veterans from prior seasons who will be coming back for Season 5. Each vet’s story is showcased with interviews.

Tuesday, Aug. 13

9 p.m. – FACE OFF *Season 5 Premiere*

FACE OFF returns for a fifth season of mind-blowing special effects ingenuity, offering a new group of rising SFX make-up artists the opportunity to compete and showcase their imagination and creativity. As a member of the multi-generational family dynasty whose name is synonymous with the make-up effects field, actress McKenzie Westmore (Vile) brings expertise to her role as host of the series.

10:30 p.m. – HEROES OF COSPLAY *Series Premiere*

This tantalizing docu-series lifts the veil on the imaginative world of costume play competition. The series follows cosplayers of all levels, from legend Yaya Han, to rising stars and newbies, as they make a splash at comic book conventions around the country.

Saturday, Aug. 17

10 p.m. – BATTLEDOGS (2013) *Movie Premiere*

All of Manhattan is quarantined when the Lupine virus spreads like wildfire, turning innocent civilians into ravenous wolf-men. Nothing short of a nuclear blast can stop the monstrous virus. BATTLEDOGS stars Dennis Haysbert (24), Kate Vernon (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA), and Bill Duke (Predator).

Saturday, Aug. 24

10 p.m. – GHOST SHARK (2013) *Movie Premiere*

Two locals must uncover the truth about their town’s dark past or fall victim to a ghost shark that can hunt on land and in the sea. GHOST SHARK stars Mackenzie Rosman (7th HEAVEN) and Dave Randolph-Mayhem Davis (THE WALKING DEAD).

Wednesday, Aug. 28

10 p.m. ­­– JOE ROGAN QUESTIONS EVERYTHING *Season 1 Finale*

Having explored these questions for years on his podcast, Joe Rogan (FEAR FACTOR) now takes his journey to the next level, traveling the country and knocking on any door necessary to find the truth. In his own unique and inquisitive style, Joe will stop at nothing to quench his curiosity for the unknown.
