Saturday, Feb. 1
10 p.m. – GIRLS – Season 3, Episode 5 of 12
Hannah (Lena Dunham) is thrilled to attend an event alongside members of the literary illuminati, until she learns that her eBook deal may be in jeopardy. Later, she tries to help Adam (Adam Driver) and Caroline (Gaby Hoffmann, You Can Count On Me) work through their anger issues. Meanwhile, Jessa (Jemima Kirke) makes positive changes and Ray (Alex Karpovsky) gives Marnie (Allison Williams) candid advice.
10:30 p.m. – LOOKING – Season 1, Episode 3 of 8
At a video-game launch party aboard an aircraft carrier, Patrick (Jonathan Groff) and his coworker Owen (Andrew Law, THE JESELNIK OFFENSIVE) meet Kevin (Russell Tovey, BEING HUMAN), who turns out to be Patrick’s new boss. Reinvigorated after his verbal beatdown of Ethan (Derek Ray, MAD MEN), Dom (Murray Bartlett) tells Doris (Lauren Weedman, The Five-Year Engagement) about his plans to start a Portuguese-chicken restaurant. Agustín (Frankie J. Alvarez) is fired by Stina (Ann Magnuson, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS) after preaching that her chair sculpture is lame, but his outlook on art and life gets a lift when he meets CJ (TJ Linnard, GUIDING LIGHT), a sex worker.
Thursday, Feb. 6
11:05 p.m. – CHINA HEAVYWEIGHT (2012)
Directed by Yung Chang and produced by the late Canadian documentarian Peter Wintonick, CHINA HEAVYWEIGHT tracks rural teenagers in southwestern China who are recruited as their country’s next Olympic hopefuls, with a focus on the coach Qi Moxiang. The first documentary film in history to have a wide theatrical release in China, CHINA HEAVYWEIGHT was the last film the Wintonick helped produce.
Friday, Feb. 7
10 p.m. – REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER – Season 12, Episode 4 of 35
11 p.m. – BANSHEE – Season 2, Episode 5 of 10
Lucas (Antony Starr) considers moving on after he and Carrie (Ivana Milicevic) take a detour on their drive back to Banshee. Agent Racine (Zeljko Ivanek) recalls the botched case against Rabbit (Ben Cross) that has haunted him for years.
Saturday, Feb. 8
9 p.m. – JUST FOR LAUGHS PRESENTS: WHITNEY CUMMINGS’ BLEEP SHOW
Filmed live at Montreal’s famed Just For Laughs Festival, Whitney Cummings brings the best in filthy, raunchy, and outrageous comedy in a 75-minute comedy special. In this unique HBO Canada event, the TV starlet hosts seven comics, including Derek Seguin, Bridgett Everett, Jim Norton, Tom Papa, Katherine Ryan, Damien Lemon, and Neal Brennan.
Sunday, Feb. 9
9 p.m. – TRUE DETECTIVE – Season 1, Episode 4 of 8
Hart (Woody Harrelson) and Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) follow a series of dangerous leads in an effort to locate prime suspect Reggie Ledoux (Charles Halford, The Cell 2).
10 p.m. – GIRLS – Season 3, Episode 6 of 12
Hannah gets a job writing advertorials at GQ, but worries that the corporate environment will kill her creative mojo. Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) rethinks her breakup in light of Ray’s newfound success, while he and Marnie butt heads over lunch.
10:30 p.m. – LOOKING – Season 1, Episode 4 of 8
Taking a break from working in the office on a Sunday, Patrick and Kevin connect while chatting about relationships, but are interrupted by a call from Kevin’s boyfriend. Later, Agustín, Doris, and Dom’s coworker Hugo (Ptolemy Slocum, Hitch) take in the leather-filled sights of the Folsom Street Fair, and convince Patrick to join them. Dom asks Lynn (Scott Bakula, Behind The Candelabra) to lunch, but it’s not clear whether it’s for a date or to talk business. Agustín finds CJ at the Fair and considers hiring him for an art project.
Monday, Feb. 10
9 p.m. – QUESTIONING DARWIN (2013) – *Premiere*
A documentary exploring the revelation of Charles Darwin’s internal struggle as he grappled with the implications of his theory of natural selection and the thinking behind modern-day Creationist theory.
Friday, Feb. 14
9: 30 p.m. – FUNNY AS HELL – Season 4, Episode 1 of 10 – *Season Premiere*
Hosted by Canadian comic Jon Dore, the new eight-episode season brings audiences more of the edgy, politically-incorrect comedy, music and digital shorts that have made FUNNY AS HELL an incubator of new great comedy stars. In Season 4, each half-hour episode features stand-up performances from some of today’s most fastest-rising stars including: Mark Forward (MATCH GAME), Adsit & Lutz (30 ROCK), Deon Cole (DEON COLE’S BLACK BOX), Moshe Kasher (DRUNK HISTORY), Kumail Nanjiani (HBO’s upcoming series SILICON VALLEY), Brian Posehn (HBO’s MR. SHOW), and Aidy Bryant (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE).
10 p.m. – REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER – Season 12, Episode 35
11 p.m. – BANSHEE – Season 2, Episode 6 of 10
When Jason’s (Harrison Thomas) past catches up to him, Lucas decides to make a deal to save the boy’s life, and maybe his own. In the absence of Carrie, Gordon (Rus Blackwell) and Deva’s (Ryann Shane) lives spin out of control. Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen) teaches Rebecca (Lili Simmons) a hard lesson in allegiance.
Sunday, Feb. 16
9 p.m. – TRUE DETECTIVE – Season 1, Episode 5 of 8
Hart and Cohle share the spoils of a solved case. Meanwhile, Papania (Tory Kittles, Olympus Has Fallen) and Gilbough (Michael Potts, LAW & ORDER) confront the detectives with troubling new intelligence.
10 p.m. – GIRLS – Season 3, Episode 7 of 12
During a Long Island weekend getaway with the girls, Hannah runs into Elijah (Andrew Rannells, THE NEW NORMAL) and invites him and his friends to their beach house, hoping to take the pressure off of Marnie’s rigorous schedule for honesty and healing.
10:30 p.m. – LOOKING – Season 1, Episode 5 of 8
After calling in sick, Patrick and Richie (Raúl Castillo, Bless Me, Ultima) visit Golden Gate Park and other San Francisco sites, learning more about each other’s pasts and future plans.

In an effort to bring down Proctor, an enraged Lucas looks for trees to shake. After rattling the regulars and strippers at the Savoy, Lucas and his deputies rough up Sharp (Joseph Sikora), a junkyard skinhead, for info on Proctor’s ecstasy operation. A family crisis brings Carrie, Deva, and Gordon together; Alex (Anthony Ruivivar) faces a vote of no-confidence at the tribal council; Job (Hoon Lee) shows off his explosive side.
Sunday, Feb. 23
9 p.m. – TRUE DETECTIVE – Season 1, Episode 6 of 8
Maggie (Michelle Monaghan, Source Code) sheds light on Cohle’s activities in 2002, when his relationship with Hart took a turn and he quit the force.
10 p.m. – GIRLS – Season 3, Episode 8 of 12
During a GQ advertorial interview, Patti LuPone warns Hannah that Adam’s new career path may cause unexpected problems. Meanwhile, Jessa’s boredom at work is interrupted by a surprise visit from an old acquaintance. Later, Hannah is assigned to review the Gramercy Park Hotel, and the group celebrates good news with Adam’s new friend Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach, DAMAGES), whom Marnie finds particularly captivating.
10:30 p.m. – LOOKING – Season 1, Episode 6 of 8
Patrick tries to hide his nervousness about Richie meeting his friends for the first time at Dom’s 40th birthday party. Lynn has a dinner to introduce Dom to potential investors; later, Dom insists to Doris that he and Lynn are just friends. Frustrated with the progress of his project, Agustín invites CJ to the birthday picnic, where he and Frank (O-T Fagbenle, MATERIAL GIRL) finally cross paths.
Wednesday, Feb. 26
9 p.m. – THE HUSBAND SHE MET ONLINE (2013) – *Premiere*
Rachel (Meredith Monroe, CRIMINAL MINDS), a hotel event planner, decides to go online to look for a new relationship, but Craig (Jason Gray-Stanford, MONK), the charming man she meets, has a dark side that is obsessive and controlling.

An illegal search warrant helps Lucas bust Proctor, at a cost. Sharp and his skinheads look for payback against Emmett (Demetrius Grosse), testing the limits of the deputy’s patience. Carrie provides the cash for Max’s (Gabriel Suttle) treatments and takes a small step towards thawing out her relationship with Gordon and Deva. Job finally gets a lead on Rabbit.
