STARZ’s Hit Drama Series BMF Draws Over Four Million Multiplatform Viewers for Season 2 Premiere and Earns Early Third Season Renewal

Santa Monica, Calif. – January 18, 2023 – STARZ has ordered a third season of its popular Detroit-based family drama BMF. The renewal comes off the heels of a successful premiere on January 6 that attracted 4.1 million multiplatform viewers for its sophomore season debut weekend, with several platforms yet to report. BMF is inspired by true legends two brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Demetrius Flenory, Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late ’80s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in the country, Black Mafia Family.
