IN CONVERSATION WITH “BROAD CITY” (Friday, September 20 at 7:00 PM):
Join Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, the dynamic duo behind the gut-busting, ground-breaking Comedy Central comedy, as they headline at the Sony Centre with In Conversation with Broad City. Having already begun work on a slew of new projects, Jacobson and Glazer will sit down with a guest moderator to reflect on Broad City’s early days as a web series, becoming the new queens of TV comedy, their uniquely prolific collaboration and much more.
JOHN MULANEY WITH SPECIAL GUEST (Sunday, September 22 at 7:00 PM):
In addition to the previously announced co-headlining shows with Pete Davidson, due to high demand, John Mulaney will be doing one more co-headlining show, this time with a Special Guest (to be revealed in the coming weeks). Emmy-winning comedian, actor, writer and producer, Mulaney is best known for his Emmy-winning stand up and his work as a writer on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, is also part of the comedy duo show, Oh, Hello which had a successful run on Broadway, as well as the lead voice in the Netflix smash hit, Big Mouth. In 2015 Mulaney released his 3rd hour stand up special a Netflix Original titled The Comeback Kid which the AV Club called “his best hour of his career.” He can most recently be heard in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which won the Golden Globe for best Animated Feature Film. He recently toured the United States with Kid Gorgeous, which was also released as a Netflix Special in May 2018 and won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Special.
Jay Pharoah: Jay Pharaoh is an actor and stand-up comedian who is best known for his uncanny celebrity impressions and characters honed during his six seasons as a cast member of Saturday Night Live. In 2015, he debuted his first stand-up comedy special, Jay Pharoah: Can I Be Me? On Showtime. He has appeared in several films such as Ride Along with Kevin Hart and Top Five with Chris Rock, and had his own Showtime TV series White Famous from executive producer Jamie Foxx.
Doughboys Podcast: Doughboys is the cult hit podcast about chain restaurants. Comedians Mike Mitchell and Nick Wiger review fast food/sit-down chains and generally argue about food/everything. Mike Mitchell is a writer, actor, and comedian from Quincy, MA. His credits include NBC’s Parks and Recreation and IFC’s The Birthday Boys. He has loved food his entire life and is happy he finally found an outlet to talk about it! Nick Wiger (rhymes with "tiger") is a writer, director, and food fanatic, originally from sunny Southern California. His credits include @midnight, Comedy Bang! Bang!, and Funny or Die.
Jim Norton: Jim Norton is an American stand-up comedian, radio personality, bestselling author and actor and the co-host of The Jim Norton & Sam Roberts Show that can be heard every morning on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. His latest stand up special, Mouthful of Shame is streaming now on Netflix where Jim lays out a full serving of refreshingly unapologetic humor in his first Netflix comedy special. In May 2016, he was announced as co-host of UFC’s Unfiltered Podcast with Jim Norton & Matt Serra. Since 2014 he has been a contributor to Time Magazine. He has an additional 4 one-hour comedy specials that can be seen on Hulu, Amazon and HBO GO.
