

Tiger-Cats and Stampeders Go Head to Head in 102nd Grey Cup

MONTREAL, November 24, 2014 – This Sunday, all eyes will turn to Vancouver for the final game of the 2014 Canadian Football League (CFL) season: the 102nd Grey Cup, which pits the Hamilton Tiger-Cats against the Calgary Stampeders at BC Place, home of the BC Lions. RDS will kick off its coverage with a 90 minute pre-game show, starting at 5 p.m. ET.
In conjunction with the 102nd Grey Cup game itself, RDS will also broadcast performances by Imagine Dragons, winner of the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance in 2014 (halftime show), BC country star Dallas Smith (SiriusXM Kick-Off show) and Montrealer Nikki Yanofsky (national anthem).
The RDS team will head to BC Place in order to provide viewers with full coverage of Canadian football at its finest. David Arsenault and Pierre Vercheval will provide the play-by-play and colour commentary, while host Matthieu Proulx, analyst Bruno Heppell and reporter Didier Orméjuste will also be on hand for the CFL season’s big finale.
Starting on Thursday, Didier Orméjuste will be on the ground in Vancouver to cover the two teams’ every move in detail for Sports 30, Sports 30 Le Magazine and Le 5 à 7.
