Following five dramatic seasons and 100 episodes, the series finale of BLINDSPOT airs Thursday, July 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and everywhere CTV content can be found, and there are still questions fans are hoping to have answered. Throughout the series’ run, viewers have watched as Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and her team of FBI agents investigated the origins of her true identity, and the reason behind her mysterious appearance in Times Square with no memory and a body covered in cryptic tattoos. As the action-packed series concludes, here are the top questions viewers want answered: Will Jane’s memory be wiped all over again? Fans of the hit series were devastated when BLINDSPOT’s penultimate episode ended with the heartbreaking image of Jane saying goodbye to Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) as the smoke from the released ZIP drug slowly swallowed her up, potentially erasing her memory again. There must be a way for the team to rescue Jane before it’s too late without risking the loss of their own memories, right? Will Ivy and the Dabbur Zann get away in time to release the ZIP on New York City? With Jane at risk of losing her memory again, the team must work together to save her, which means time taken away from stopping Ivy (Julee Cerda) and the Dabbur Zann terrorist group from wreaking more havoc on New York City. With Kathy betraying the team to help the Dabbur Zann, Ivy has all the power and time she needs to follow through with her plan. Is Kathy truly loyal to Ivy or she is playing double agent again? Some fans may have guessed all along that Kathy was playing double agent when she turned herself into the Lab and convinced Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and Rich (Ennis Esmer) that she could help them stop Ivy, only to escape back to the Dabbur Zann after the ZIP’s whereabouts were found. But what if Kathy is playing Ivy as well? Could she have genuinely meant it when she said she missed working with Patterson and Rich? Will the team be reinstated as FBI agents? Last season showed the evil mastermind that is Madeline Burke successfully frame Jane, Weller, and the entire FBI team as the agents responsible for her plan to cause a major blackout on the Eastern Seaboard. Her convincing story prompted the team to go on the run. Now with Madeline dead and Ivy still on the loose, Weller and the team have a risky plan to find and expose Ivy as the real perpetrator so the team of agents can be reinstated with the FBI and resume normal life. Even if the skillful and talented team were able to find Ivy and stop her, they still have no guarantee their work will convince the FBI of their innocence. These queries are just a few of the major concerns viewers are hoping will be resolved in the BLINDSPOT series finale airing Thursday, July 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and everywhere CTV content can be found.
