TORONTO (August 14, 2014) – Let the summertime celebrations begin! TSN and Kraft Canada hit the road tomorrow for the sixth-annual Kraft Celebration Tour. From August 15-24, the Kraft Celebration Tour criss-crosses the country to award each Top 10 winning community $25,000 towards building a better place to play, as well as host a live broadcast of SPORTSCENTRE, Canada’s #1 sports news program.

TSN’s Darren Dutchyshen, Kate Beirness, Nabil Karim, and Jennifer Hedger hit the road from August 15-24 to host live editions of SPORTSCENTRE across the country as part of the Kraft Celebration Tour.
Anchors Jennifer Hedger and Nabil Karim kick off the Kraft Celebration Tour with a live broadcast of SPORTSCENTRE in Montebello, Que. this Friday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. ET on TSN. RDS joins in on the Kraft Celebration Tour festivities in Québec, with Luc Bellemare, Michel Laprise, and Geneviève Langlois hosting a live broadcast of SPORTS 30 LE MAGAZINE from Montebello.
The following day, SPORTSCENTRE touches down in Vancouver Island as anchors Darren Dutchyshen and Kate Beirness kick off the Western leg of the Tour when they bring SPORTSCENTRE to Nanaimo, B.C. on Saturday, Aug. 16 at 6 p.m. ET on TSN.
“This is my first year on the Kraft Celebration Tour and I’m incredibly excited to help the winners share their community’s story with SPORTSCENTRE fans across the country,” said Karim. “I can’t wait to travel this amazing country and see Canadians come together to build better places to play and celebrate their communities.”
In Eastern Canada, Hedger and Karim bring SPORTSCENTRE to Montebello, Que., Saint Andrews, N.B., Springhill, N.S, Charlottetown, P.E.I., and Gander, N.L.
Dutchyshen and Beirness host SPORTSCENTRE from the winning communities on the Western half of the Kraft Celebration Tour, including Nanaimo, B.C., Barrhead, Alta., Prince Albert, Sask., Holland, Man., and Ottawa, Ont.
Broadcast Schedule
All live broadcasts of the 2014 Kraft Celebration Tour will air on the 6 p.m. ET edition of SPORTSCENTRE. The broadcast locations and dates are as follows:
Last month, the Top 10 winners went head-to-head in an online battle for the total grand prize of $100,000 – new prizing added to this year’s campaign. The grand prize winner will be revealed on SPORTSCENTRE on Monday, Aug. 25 – the day after the final Kraft Celebration Tour stop in Ottawa, Ont.
