TORONTO (July 21, 2017) – TSN today announced the broadcast schedule for the 2017 CANADA SUMMER GAMES from Winnipeg – one of 60+ iconic championship events that live on Canada’s Sports Leader. As the Canada Games celebrate their 50th anniversary, TSN will air 40 hours of live comprehensive coverage beginning with the Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 28 at 8 p.m. ET on TSN from Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg. Rauter also provides play-by-play commentary throughout the Games, including women’s soccer alongside Olympic medallist and Canada Games alumna Kaylyn Kyle. TSN’s Sara Orlesky hosts coverage throughout the Games on location at The Forks in downtown Winnipeg. Coverage also features live contributions throughout the competition from a full slate of TSN reporters, hosts, and analysts, including Paul Hollingsworth, Meghan McPeak, Greg Sutton, and more. In addition to the highly anticipated Opening and Closing Ceremony broadcasts, TSN broadcast segments will feature soccer, beach volleyball, indoor volleyball, baseball, basketball, and softball. TSN will also provide coverage of additional sports with extensive highlights throughout the competition, and will deliver in-depth athlete profiles.
