TORONTO (January 14, 2014) – TSN today announced its BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE broadcast schedule through to Feb. 23, 2014 (see below for confirmed schedule). TSN’s slate of platforms – TSN, TSN2, TSN.ca, and TSN Radio – will continue to deliver up to five games per week throughout the 2013-14 season as part of the network’s 190-game package.
TSN’s multi-platform BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE coverage continues this weekend with five matches, and is headlined by doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday culminating in a battle of Premier League giants on Sunday as Chelsea takes on Manchester United at 11 a.m. ET on TSN. Additional highlights of TSN’s confirmed schedule include Manchester City vs. Chelsea Monday, Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. ET on TSN2 and Arsenal vs. Man United on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 2:45 p.m. ET on TSN.
TSN also confirmed five games featuring Tottenham and Jermain Defoe, including possibly his final BPL home game as a Spurs player when Everton visit Tottenham on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 8:30 a.m. ET on TSN2 and what may be his last BPL game in a Tottenham uniform on Sunday, Feb. 23 when Norwich plays Tottenham at 11 a.m. ET on TSN.ca. The England international was announced yesterday as the newest member of TFC, and will be leaving the BPL for Major League Soccer at the end of February.
The broadcast schedule for TSN Radio – including TSN Radio 1050 Toronto, TSN Radio 690 Montreal, TSN Radio 1200 Ottawa, TSN Radio 1260 Edmonton, and TSN Radio 1290 Winnipeg – will be confirmed weekly on each station’s homepage.
This is the first season of a new multi-year broadcast agreement with BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE that gives TSN Canadian media rights to half of all games through to the 2015-16 season.
