Team Canada is the second-highest ranked team in the tournament, behind #1-ranked Samoa. Battling for Team Canada are RUGBY WORLD CUP veterans Ciaran Hearn, team captain John Moonlight, Conor Trainor, and Nathan Hirayama. Team Canada’s men’s team looks to join the Canada’s Women’s Sevens team, who have already qualified for Rio 2016.
Along with Team Canada, the 
MONACO RUGBY SEVENS field features 16 national men’s teams, including Ireland, Germany, Russia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Uruguay, and Chile.
