TSN Delivers Extensive Coverage of the Biggest Weekend of Racing in Canada, the FORMULA 1® CANADIAN GRAND PRIX 2022, June 17-19

TORONTO (June 16, 2022) – From the starting grid to the checkered flag, TSN has Formula 1^® fans covered for the biggest auto racing event on Canadian soil when the CANADIAN GRAND PRIX 2022 returns to the famed Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montréal from June 17-19. The action begins with practice coverage on Friday, June 17 at 4:45 p.m. ET on TSN, TSN.ca, and the TSN app and continues through to the highly anticipated race on Sunday, June 19 airing on TSN, CTV, TSN.ca, CTV.ca, and the TSN and CTV apps. Seven-time CANADIAN GRAND PRIX champion Lewis Hamilton looks to defend his title as the last driver to win the CANADIAN GRAND PRIX in 2019. Hamilton faces fierce competition from the field of 20 drivers, which includes defending World Drivers’ Champion Max Verstappen; red-hot Ferrari teammates Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz; Hamilton’s Mercedes teammate George Russell; and Canadians Lance Stroll and Nicholas Latifi. Leading up to race weekend, TSN also delivers a slate of memorable Canadian F1 moments, including:

• 2007 CANADIAN GRAND PRIX (Thursday, June 16 at 10 p.m. ET) – Lewis Hamilton’s first of an eventual record-breaking 103 victories in F1.
• 2011 CANADIAN GRAND PRIX (Friday, June 17 at 7:30 p.m. ET) – Remembered for being the longest race F1 race ever at four hours, four minutes and 39 seconds, the 2011 race was voted the best ever CANADIAN GRAND PRIX by F1 fans.
