TORONTO (July 2, 2014) – It’s an unprecedented year for tennis in Canada, as two Canadian singles players have reached the semifinals of a Grand Slam tennis tournament for the first time in history. TSN, the home of Grand Slam tennis, continues live coverage of Canadian tennis stars Genie Bouchard and Milos Raonic’s highly-anticipated semifinal matches at WIMBLEDON.
TSN’s live coverage of the 2014 WIMBLEDON women’s semifinals begins with Bouchard’s remarkable third consecutive trip to a Grand Slam semifinal. She squares off against Simona Halep in the second women’s semifinal tomorrow (Thursday, July 3). The first semifinal, featuring Petra Kvitova vs. Lucie Safarova airs live at 8 a.m. ET on TSN, followed by the Bouchard-Halep match at approximately 9:30 a.m. ET.*
Coverage continues on the men’s side with Raonic’s semifinal showdown against seven-time WIMBLEDON champion Roger Federer on Friday, July 4 live on TSN.
