WORLD JUNIOR SUMMER SHOWCASE. Featuring the world’s elite U-20 hockey players facing off in a series of matchups, Team Canada faces off against top rival nations Finland, Sweden, and USA. Coverage begins

The list of players invited to Hockey Canada’s summer camp who will take part in the
WORLD JUNIOR SUMMER SHOWCASE is highlighted by a number of Top 10 draft picks, including the #3 selection at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft Pierre-Luc Dubois, Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner, Florida Panthers winger Lawson Crouse, and Arizona Coyotes centre Dylan Strome. Joining them is an elite roster of young talent including Toronto-born Jakob Chychrun, Montréal Canadiens defensive prospect Noah Juulsen, and Ottawa Senators defender Thomas Chabot.
The Canadian squad will take on rival nations featuring a selection of high draft picks including Matthew Tkachuk, drafted 6
th-overall by the Calgary Flames, and the Ottawa Senators’ Logan Brown for Team USA, along with Swedish leading scorer from the 2016 WORLD JUNIORS, Alexander Nylander. In total, the
WORLD JUNIOR SUMMER SHOWCASE features 19 players selected in the first round of the 2016 NHL Draft, including eight from Team Canada.
Following the
WORLD JUNIOR SUMMER SHOWCASE and Canada’s National Junior Team selection camp in December, a total of 22 players will be selected to represent Team Canada at the
2017 World Juniors in
Toronto and Montréal – part of
the 60+ championships that live on TSN.
