TORONTO (January 17, 2017) – As Canada’s Sports Leader and the 
home of the biggest roster of championship events in the country, TSN leads all sports broadcasters with 
16 Canadian Screen Award nominations, announced this morning in Toronto.
TSN received nominations in a wide variety of categories, from broadcast talent to live event productions to feature segments. The network received nominations for seven different marquee live broadcasts, as TSN continues to captivate the country by delivering Canada’s biggest and most diverse lineup of iconic sporting events.

TSN’s exclusive live coverage of the 
103rd Grey Cup received a total of four nominations, including Best Live Sports Event, Best Direction in a Live Sporting Event, and one nomination each for CFL ON TSN’s acclaimed broadcast team of 
Chris Cuthbert and 
Glen Suitor in the categories of Best Sports Play-by-Play Announcer and Best Sports Analyst in a Sports Program or Series, respectively.
In addition to Cuthbert and Suitor, multiple TSN personalities received nominations for excellence in sports broadcasting, including 
James Duthie and 
Brian Williams (Best Sports Host), 
Gord Miller (Best Sports Play-by-Play Announcer), and 
Jack Armstrong and 
Ray Ferraro (Best Sports Analyst).
