TSN Leaves It All on the Floor with GAME 6: THE MOVIE, A Unique Cinematic Production of Game 6 of the 1998 NBA FINALS, This Sunday

It was the culmination of the Chicago Bulls dynasty – the team’s second championship three-peat, Michael Jordan’s final game in the iconic red, black, and white uniform, and arguably one of the most famous games in NBA history. TSN is set to broadcast GAME 6: THE MOVIE, a special cinematic production of Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals between the Chicago Bulls and the Utah Jazz. The Canadian premiere of the special airs as the conclusion to the network’s fan-voted SELECT THE SERIES, tipping off this Sunday, May 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET on TSN.

This unique, high-definition version of the game features never-before-seen footage captured by five different NBA Entertainment cameras, presenting an unprecedented look back at the historic game. It also features the original commentary provided for the live game telecast by Bob Costas, Isiah Thomas, Doug Collins, Ahmad Rashad, and Jim Gray.

As the Bulls secured their sixth title in eight years, the original airing of the game earned, and still holds, the highest-ever U.S. TV ratings for an NBA game. Jordan’s final game with the Bulls was highlighted by a signature legendary performance, capped off with his game-winning jumper with 5.2 seconds left to secure the title and add yet another Larry O’B to his vast trophy collection.
