TSN’s fan-favourite live coverage of the NHL Trade Deadline, TRADECENTRE, was the prime destination for hockey fans on Friday, March 6, as the network’s signature annual special reached a total of 1.3 million viewers on TSN, +48% more than the network’s closest competitor, according to preliminary overnight data from Numeris. In the main coverage window, TSN’s TRADECENTRE special attracted an average audience of 153,000 viewers, an increase of +61% compared to 2025, and +143% more than its closest competitor. TSN ranked as the country’s most-watched network on Friday. Social media content across TSN and BarDown platforms saw a +53% increase in video views across Instagram, X, Facebook, and TikTok compared to 2025, highlighted by combined totals of 1.1 million engagements, 3.1 million video views, and 37.9 million impressions. With host James Duthie and the Hockey Insiders pulling off a cinematic opening heist, followed by a nod to 98th OSCARS® contender MARTY SUPREME and a cameo from CNN fact-checker extraordinaire Daniel Dale, TRADECENTRE offered fans day-long, up-to-the-minute coverage of breaking trades, interviews with hockey newsmakers, and the fun moments fans have come to expect from the TSN Hockey crew.
