TSN’s Season of Champions Curling Coverage Culminates with the 2017 WORLD WOMEN’S and FORD WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIPS, Beginning Tomorrow, Saturday, March 18

TORONTO (March 17, 2017) – TSN’s Season of Champions curling coverage culminates with the sport’s world championship tournaments: the 2017 WORLD WOMEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP and 2017 FORD WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP – two of the 60+ iconic championships that live on TSN. Comprehensive, live coverage begins with the WORLD WOMEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP, running March 18-26 in Beijing, China, followed by the FORD WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP, taking place April 1-9 in Edmonton. TSN’s Vic Rauter delivers the call for both tournaments alongside analysts Russ Howard, a two-time BRIER champion and Olympic gold medallist, and Olympic silver medallist Cheryl Bernard. Three-time SCOTTIES champion Cathy Gauthier joins the broadcast team for coverage of the 2017 FORD WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP. The 2017 WORLD WOMEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP begins tomorrow, Saturday, March 18, with Canada vs. host country China at 1 a.m. ET on TSN, followed by an encore broadcast Sunday, March 19 at 1 p.m. ET. Coverage wraps up on Sunday, March 26 with the Gold Medal Game, live at 3 a.m. ET on TSN, followed by an encore broadcast in primetime at 8 p.m. ET across TSN. SCOTTIES champion Rachel Homan and her Ontario rink competes for Canada’s first gold medal at the tournament since 2008. The action then moves to Edmonton for live coverage of the 2017 FORLD WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP, beginning Saturday, April 1 at 4 p.m. ET on TSN, and continuing throughout the week before concluding with the Gold Medal Game live on Sunday, April 9 at 8 p.m. ET on TSN.
