March 18-26 in Beijing, China, followed by the
FORD WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP, taking place

The
2017 WORLD WOMEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP begins
tomorrow, Saturday, March 18, with
Canada vs. host country
China at
1 a.m. ET on TSN, followed by an encore broadcast
Sunday, March 19 at 1 p.m. ET. Coverage wraps up on
Sunday, March 26 with the Gold Medal Game, live at
3 a.m. ET on TSN, followed by an encore broadcast in primetime at
8 p.m. ET across TSN. Throughout the tournament, TSN airs encore broadcasts of Team Canada’s overnight games the following day.
SCOTTIES champion
Rachel Homan and her Ontario rink competes for Canada’s first gold medal at the tournament since 2008. Homan faces off against a competitive field which also includes two-time World Champion Alina Paetz of Switzerland, World Champion and Olympic bronze medallist Eve Muirhead of Scotland, two-time European Champion Anna Sidorova of Russia, and World Champion and Olympic bronze medallist Wang Bingyu of China.
The action then moves to Edmonton for live coverage of the
2017 FORLD WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP, beginning
Saturday, April 1 at 4 p.m. ET on TSN, and continuing throughout the week before concluding with the Gold Medal Game live on
Sunday, April 9 at 8 p.m. ET on TSN.
Fresh off his first career BRIER title,
Brad Gushue and his Newfoundland and Labrador rink hit the ice to take on a star-studded field that also features Olympic silver medallist David Murdoch of Scotland, Olympic bronze medallist John Shuster of USA, and two-time World Champion and Olympic bronze medallist Niklas Edin of Sweden.
