Below are programming highlights for CTV, CTV Comedy Channel, CTV Drama Channel, CTV Life Channel, and CTV Sci-Fi Channel, as well as CTV Throwback and CTV Movies, which are available exclusively on CTV.ca and the CTV app. MUST-WATCH FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 10 CTV: The seventh and final season of MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. comes to an end on Wednesday, Aug. 12 with a two-part series finale beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV. With their backs against the wall and Nathaniel (Thomas E. Sullivan, THE ROOKIE) and Sibyl (Tamara Taylor, BONES) edging even closer to eliminating S.H.I.E.L.D. from the history books, the agents must rely on their strengths to outsmart and outlast the Chronicoms. This is their most important fight, and it will take the help of friends and teammates, past and present, to survive. CTV Comedy Channel: On an all-new episode of CROSSING SWORDS, airing Thursday, August 13 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the kingdom embarks on a rescue mission when King Merriman (Luke Evans, THE ALIENIST) offers a million dollar reward for the safe return of Princess Blossom (Maya Erskine, PEN15) after she is kidnapped by a masked assassin. CTV Drama Channel: The stakes are raised in an all-new episode of IN THE DARK, on Thursday, August 13 at 9 p.m. ET, when the Guiding Hope crew must contend with the fallout following an attempt to cut off Nia’s (Nicki Micheaux, LINCOLN HEIGHTS) supply and take her down. CTV Life Channel: Real-life couple Chef Rodney Bowers and Bell Media radio and TV personality Meredith Shaw use one pound cake recipe to create two deliciously different desserts in an all-new episode of DOUBLE YOUR DISH, Monday, August 10 at 8:30 p.m. ET. CTV Sci-Fi Channel: The interstellar adventures of the STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS Starfleet continue in an all-new episode on Thursday, August 13 at 9 p.m. ET. After a high-profile mission goes awry, Boimler (Jack Quaid, THE BOYS), is further plagued with self-doubt when Mariner (Tawny Newsome, SPACE FORCE) proves herself to be a more naturally talented sci-fi badass than he. Meanwhile, Rutherford (Eugene Cordero, TACOMA FD) quits his job in engineering and explores other departments on the U.S.S. Cerritos. CTV Movies: The action-packed crime thriller S.W.A.T. joins CTV Movies on Thursday, Aug. 12. The film follows Hondo Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson) as he recruits Jim Street (Colin Farrell, TRUE DETECTIVE) to join an elite unit of the Los Angeles Police Department. Together, they seek out more members, including Deke Kay (LL Cool J), and single mom Chris Sanchez (Michelle Rodriguez, FAST & FURIOUS). The team’s first big assignment is to escort crime boss Alex Montel (Olivier Martinez, UNFAITHFUL) to prison. It seems routine, but when Montel offers a huge reward to anyone who can break him free, several criminal groups step up for the prize. CTV Digital: In an all-new episode of UNITED WE FALL, available exclusively on CTV.ca and the CTV app beginning Aug. 13, Bill (Will Sasso, MADTV) and Jo (Christina Vidal, SNEAKY PETE) take in their niece after she clashes with her father Chuy (Guillermo Diaz, SCANDAL). Later, Bill regrets playing matchmaker when he learns of Dave’s (Sam McMurray, THE FOSTERS) plans to propose to Sandy (Jane Curtin, 3^RD ROCK FROM THE SUN).
