MUST-WATCH FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 6 CTV: In an all-new episode of ULTIMATE TAG, airing Wednesday, July 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, a firefighter and a police officer are just two of the remarkable amateur Taggers competing in the Tag Arena. Records are smashed and bodies are pushed to the limit, as they battle professional Taggers over five grueling courses. There’s only one rule: don’t get caught! CTV Comedy Channel: Dark ages debauchery continues on an all-new episode of CROSSING SWORDS, Thursday, July 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT when a string of high-profile assassinations rock the kingdom just as the headstrong teenage Princess Blossom (Maya Erskine, PEN15) returns home from school to attend a music festival. Assigned as the mischievous princess’ sole security detail, Patrick (Nicholas Hoult, Mad Max: Fury Road) soon realizes he’s over his head when the assassin strikes the festival. CTV Drama Channel: Things take a turn for the worse on another new episode of IN THE DARK, Thursday, July 9 at 9 p.m. ET as Jess (Brooke Markham, Dude) finds herself in danger after being labelled a liability by drug kingpin Nia (Nicki Micheaux, LINCOLN HEIGHTS). CTV Life Channel: On another new episode of WHERE TO I DO?, Tuesday, July 7 at 9 p.m. ET, host Tommy Smythe channels his inner hipster as he searches for a Toronto wedding venue with a cool house party vibe, for long-term couple Lisa and Aaron. CTV Sci-Fi Channel’s DOOM PATROL sees Dorothy (newcomer Abigail Shapiro) finally find a friend in Baby Doll (newcomer Sarah Borne) until playtime goes awry, Thursday, July 9 at 9 p.m. ET. Then, Cliff (Brendan Fraser, The Mummy franchise) discovers that Niles (Timothy Dalton, License to Kill) plans to give him human-like upgrades while Larry (Matt Bomer, Magic Mike) brings Rita (April Bowlby, DROP DEAD DIVA) along to meet his family and learns more about the life he left behind. CTV Throwback and CTV Movies: Seasons 1-7 of the animated comedy series THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS joins CTV Throwback on Thursday, July 9. The series continues the adventures of paranormal investigators Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Egon Spengler, Dr. Ray Stanz, and Winston Zeddemore, as a spin-off and sequel to the highly popular 1984 film Ghostbusters.
