TORONTO (February 21, 2016) – In an episode that saw some home cooks compete in an intricate skills test and a surprise challenge, the final composition of the
MASTERCHEF CANADA Season 3 Top 14 was revealed on CTV tonight. Judges
Michael Bonacini,
Alvin Leung, and
Claudio Aprile handed out coveted white aprons to finalists from the West through to the East Coast, to form a Top 14 that includes a carpenter, accountant, salon manager, makeup artist, lawyer, teacher, doctor, and a PhD law student. The home cooks are now competing for the chance to win a $100,000 cash prize and the title of Canada’s next MasterChef. Returning to CTV after a one week break for CTV’s broadcast of THE OSCARS
® on Sunday, February 28, with coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET, the
MASTERCHEF CANADA competition continues
