Zuraidah Alman Named Anchor of Toronto’s #1 Late-Night Newscast, CTV NEWS AT 11:30

 

TORONTO (February 24, 2016) – CTV Toronto announced today that Zuraidah Alman has been named Anchor of Toronto’s #1 late-night newscast, CTV NEWS AT 11:30. A familiar face to viewers, Alman has been with the team at CTV News since 2008 as a reporter and fill-in anchor. “I’m looking forward to serving our dedicated viewers each weeknight with a roundup of the day’s headlines,” said Alman. “Toronto is a city that never sleeps, and it is an honour to be the last call for so many Torontonians before the end of the day, delivering the highest quality of news that is CTV Toronto’s trademark.” “Zuraidah is an accomplished reporter who demonstrates passion and professionalism in delivering the stories that matter most to Torontonians and viewers across the region,” said Joanne MacDonald, Vice-President, CTV News. “I’m pleased to welcome Zuraidah to the anchor desk – she’s a terrific addition to our award-winning anchor team.” Alman’s broadcast experience spans almost two decades.
