About the show
CANADA’S DRAG RACE is a nine-episode, one-hour competition series that tracks Canadian drag artists as they compete for the title of “Canada’s Next Drag Superstar.” Each episode pushes them to their limits by having them compete in singing, dancing, acting, impersonation, costume making, and improvisation challenges. Judging the series are a panel of entertainment industry experts featuring Brooke Lynn Hytes and Traci Melchor, along with celebrity guest judges. Competitors are eliminated until one Queen is left standing with the crown, scepter, and coveted title. Throughout this raucous journey to the crown, the Queens share personal struggles with their queer and marginalized identities, celebrate their successes, and showcase the importance of celebrating everyone’s Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent
