From SHOWTIME Documentary Films, this new four-hour television event airing over four consecutive nights features conversations between Oscar® winning writer and director Oliver Stone (Platoon, Snowden) and Russian president Vladimir Putin, who speaks candidly about the U.S. election, U.S. President Donald Trump, Syria, Edward Snowden, and more. Granted unprecedented access to both Putin’s professional and personal worlds, Stone, with the help of his longtime documentary producer Fernando Sulichin (THE UNTOLD HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES), interviewed the Russian leader more than a dozen times over the course of two years, most recently in February 2017 following the U.S. presidential election.
